Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 has officially launched, introducing players to an array of 6v6 Multiplayer maps, including Lifeline and Bounty, as well as another Zombies map: The Tomb. In addition to these unique locations, players can also get their hands on a fresh arsenal of weapons, such as the Cypher 091 Assault Rifle.
While new weapons are always an exciting addition, one of the more overlooked aspects of Season 2 is the introduction of a roster of attachments, each offering unique benefits to the weapons they are equipped to. However, while some of these attachments are exclusive to specific weapons, none of them can be unlocked simply by leveling up the weapons they are available for. Instead, players must fulfill a separate set of prerequisites to acquire them.

The Cypher 091 is a bullpup Assault Rifle for Black Ops 6 Season 2, bringing with it a whole host of additional attachments and camos to unlock.
Crossbow (Underbarrel)
- Unlocked at Page 7 of the Season 2 Battle Pass
First up is the Crossbow, an Underbarrel attachment that players can equip onto all Assault Rifles, most Marksman Rifles, and the ASG-89 Shotgun. The Crossbow functions similarly to underbarrel Grenade Launchers and can be toggled by switching the weapon’s fire mode while equipped. Doing so allows players to fire explosive-tipped crossbow bolts that detonate after a short fuse time. The Crossbow itself only comes with two bolts, but they can be replenished using the Scavenger Perk and the Assault Pack Field Upgrade.
Full Auto Mod (Fire Mod)
- Unlocked via The Terminator Event
The Full Auto Mod is a Fire Mod acquired through The Terminator Event for Season 2 of Black Ops 6. This nifty attachment is reserved for the AEK-973, and as the name suggests, it converts the burst-fire Marksman Rifle into a fully automatic weapon. While this change offers the weapon more firepower through its increased rate of fire, it does increase the weapon’s vertical recoil slightly, calling for players to throw on the best attachments to handle recoil control. Unlike most other attachments, the Full Auto Mod cannot be equipped with other weapons as of Season 2.

Binary Trigger (Fire Mod)
- Unlocked via The Shadow Hunt Event
Just like the Full Auto Mod, the Binary Trigger is another Fire Mod acquired through a limited-time event, this time tied to the Shadow Hunt Event. This attachment is exclusive to the Tanto .22 Submachine Gun. Once equipped, the Tanto .22 is converted into a semi-automatic weapon that fires a single bullet when the trigger is pulled and another when released, effectively doubling the weapon’s fire rate if players have a fast trigger finger.
However, if players have their Manual Fire Behavior set to Hold in their Advanced Combat Settings, the Binary Trigger functions more like a burst-fire attachment, slowing the fire rate but allowing continuous fire by holding down the Fire Button. Unlike the previous two attachments, the Binary Trigger blocks other Barrel and Underbarrel attachments, which may deter some players—especially since it also introduces noticeable vertical recoil when fired rapidly.
Belt-Fed Attachment (Magazine)
- Unlocked through a Mid-Season Event
The final attachment arriving in Black Ops 6 during Season 2 is the Belt-Fed Attachment, a Magazine attachment exclusive to Light Machine Guns. Currently, the Belt-Fed Attachment is set to launch as part of an upcoming event following the debut of the Season 2 Reloaded update.
The Belt-Fed Attachment retains the same functionality as the Belt-Feed Operator Mod from Black Ops 4, allowing players to fire continuously without needing to reload, as the weapon’s ammo reserve essentially serves as its entire magazine capacity. However, this uninterrupted firepower comes with a drawback—the weapon will overheat if fired for too long.
Following the conclusion of Season 2, and the end of the Events that introduced certain attachments, each attachment will become available in the Armory for players who did not unlock them. The Armory can be accessed through the Challenge section of the Launcher Menu, where players can unlock each attachment by earning XP.
