We will be helping you find the best option to travel in The Sims with this guide. While the game is hard in all respects, you don’t need to learn rocket science for travel, unless you want to go to space that is.

How To Travel

The Sims Downtown area, there are many people there.

To travel in The Sims, you don’t have to walk beyond your front porch to travel. Instead, you need to use a telephone. Remember that these are usually on a table or the wall, since cell phones weren’t around when the game was made.

Here are the steps you need to follow to travel in The Sims:

  • In Live Mode, click on a telephone. If you don’t have one, switch to Buy Mode, then hop into the Electronics section. You’ll have some options here. Pick one and place it in the household.
  • On clicking the telephone, you’ll be given several options. Click on the Call Cab dialogue box. You’ll be given five different options to pick from.
  • Click on the location you want to visit, a cab will arrive shortly and take you to your desired location.
  • To go home, use a telephone booth at your location and select Call Cab then you’ll find an option called Go Back. Select this to return home.
