Beast Hunts In Tails Of Iron 2: Whiskers Of Winter presents the chance to track down and defeat some of the ratdom’s most ferocious creatures, like the Stealth Claw. Stealth Claws are difficult enemies to track and fight, as they can become invisible and quickly reposition themselves on the battlefield.

Sky Scorchers terrorize the ratdom after the main quest is over.
Unfortunately, Stealth Claws are causing problems in the Rift, and your resident Rift Hunter, Short Tongue, needs Arlo’s help to eliminate a particularly problematic one. However, you’ll employ keen tracking skills as this enemy won’t reveal itself easily.
How To Start “Hunt The Stealth Claw”
Return to the Rift Hunter stall in Bogmire Forge to continue your Beast Hunting following a successful defeat of the Tailspinner Queen.
A Wicked Web and Hunt The Stealth Claw can be selected in any order, so feel free to switch things up.
Once you accept the request, Short Tongue will share the reports about a strange creature that has been spotted in The Rift.
You’ll return to the site where you first encountered a Stealth Claw on the right side of the map between The Ruins of Claggy Rock Castle and The Druid’s Hut.
Fast travel to the ruins to cut out part of the journey, then head right until you find a few Warrior Frogs accosting a smith; fight them off.
How To Defeat The Stealth Claw
Interact with the smith and send them back to safety. Suddenly, the Stealth Claw will appear, ready to engage you in battle. Be extremely cautious as the Stealth Claw can disappear and then come back into sight at a moment’s notice.
Stealth Claws are weak against fire and poison.
Avoid the long tail whip attack, which can electrify the ground, leaving a residue that will damage and stun Arlo if you linger in it.
Luckily, this attack leaves the Stealth Claw immobile for a few seconds, so it presents a great opening to strike back.
Use your ranged attacks as well as Fire and Poison Elementa to deal significant damage to the reptile when it attacks.
As is the case with Beast Hunts, when it loses 33 percent of its HP, the Stealth Claw will flee. Follow it to the left, even if its shadow appears to flee to the right.
How To Beat The Stealth Claw Phase Two
Descend the ladder below The Ruins Of Claggy Rock Castle to pursue the Stealth Claw and interact with the spot beside Short Tongue to trigger the next encounter.
Attack the Stealth Claw as soon as it appears on top of you and dodge its electric tail attack. If you’re precise and unleash damage quickly, the beast won’t be able to respond with hits of its own.
Even if the Stealth Claw becomes invisible, continue attacking the spot you saw it, as it can still take damage as long as it hasn’t changed positions yet.
With aggressive attacks and smart positioning, the Stealth Claw will be defeated.
What Rewards Do You Get From Hunting The Stealth Claw?
Once the Stealth Claw goes down, you’ll receive the following gear as a reward:
- Rough TH Stealth Claw Sword
- Rough Stealth Claw Gun
- Rough Stealth Claw Helmet
- Rough Stealth Claw Armour
Once you collect your reward, this Beast Hunt Side Quest will be complete.
This armor is exceptional, as it can resist two types of damage – ice and electric.
