Jellyrolls Announces Departure from Disney’s BoardWalk at Walt Disney World
After nearly three decades, Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar at Disney’s BoardWalk, has announced plans to leave its current location in spring 2025. The venue shared the news via its official social media channels, stating, “After nearly thirty years on Disney’s BoardWalk, Jellyrolls is making a move! Come celebrate with us into the spring season and keep your eyes on our social media for exciting new updates!”
Jellyrolls has been a fan-favorite destination since 1996, offering an interactive sing-along experience with talented pianists taking audience requests. Known for its high-energy performances and adults-only atmosphere, it has built a loyal following over the years. While no details have been released about where Jellyrolls will relocate or what will replace it, this departure marks another major change for the BoardWalk area, which recently saw the transformation of the ESPN Club into The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers.
Cannons Finally Firing Again on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland
A signature effect on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland has finally returned after being deactivated for years. The cannons, which move back and forth to simulate blaster fire, are now fully operational once again. The effect had been turned off due to technical issues that caused frequent ride downtime, leaving guests dodging only blasts of light rather than physical cannon movement.
According to Scott Gustin, the cannons were fixed some time ago, but the solution was delayed because Walt Disney World did not wish to implement them on its version of the attraction. As of now, the cannons remain inactive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, while Disneyland guests can once again experience the ride as originally intended. This marks a major improvement for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which remains one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland Resort.
Valentine’s Day Foodie Guide 2025: Sweet Treats Arrive at Disney Parks
The culinary teams at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have created a lineup of delightful Valentine’s Day-themed treats to celebrate the season of love. While Valentine’s Day falls on February 14, Disney Parks Blog revealed that several items will be available early, giving guests more time to indulge in festive flavors. This year’s offerings include adorable new desserts and returning fan-favorites, making Valentine’s celebrations at Disney Parks even more delicious.
At Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, guests can try the Carl and Ellie Petit Cake, a new creation featuring vanilla chiffon soaked with Chambord simple syrup, white chocolate mousse, raspberry jam, and white chocolate crispy pearls. Another standout is the Mini Valentine’s Croquembouche, made with chocolate pâte à choux, chocolate-hazelnut custard, and chocolate ganache. Those looking for a striking dessert can opt for Painting the Roses Red Amorette’s Rose, featuring a chocolate biscuit with dark chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce filling. All of these items are available February 1-14 via mobile order.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Woody’s Lunch Box is offering a Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Lunch Box Tart, featuring chocolate pastry, strawberry jam, chocolate fondant, strawberry crisps, pink curls, and heart sprinkles. This seasonal snack will be available from February 1-28 via mobile order. Additionally, the Raspberry Macaron Heart can be found at Carousel Coffee and BoardWalk Deli at Disney’s BoardWalk, as well as Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, from February 1-14.
Disneyland is also joining in on the Valentine’s fun with limited-time offerings. Red Rose Taverne is serving the Valentine’s Grey Stuff, a festive twist on the fan-favorite treat, featuring a red shortbread cookie topped with red velvet cake, raspberry, cookies and crème mousse, and heart sprinkles. At Disney California Adventure Park, Hollywood Lounge is offering a new Valentine Champagne, featuring strawberry champagne served in a decorative Valentine flute, available through February 16.
