Longlegs wowed horror fans when it was released in the summer of 2024, and one fan theory suggests it could be connected to another Oz Perkins film.
Fans have ideas about Final Destination: Bloodlines, and everyone is wondering how Death is going to get people this time around. The sixth movie has a lot of talent attached, which bodes well for this next installment in the popular franchise. Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick co-wrote the script, and Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky directed the film. Busick co-wrote Abigail, Scream (2022), and Scream 6, and also wrote the screenplay for Scream 7, which will be released in February 2026.
While this tattoo parlor scene might not match the most shocking Final Destination scene, it’s still gruesome and unforgettable and suggests that fans will be satisfied by the upcoming horror sequel. As reported by JoBlo, Final Destination: Bloodlines centers around Stefanie, a college student whose family has been targeted by Death. There is someone who she thinks can help, and the movie follows her quest to find them.
Brec Bassinger, whose credits include The Man in the White Van and the Nickelodeon series The Haunted Hathaways, plays the main character Stefanie. The cast also includes Max Lloyd-Jones, Owen Patrick Joyner, Richard Harmon, Teo Briones, Anna Lore, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, and Rya Kihlstedt. Although Devon Sawa didn’t reprise his role of the original main character Alex Browning, there is another familiar face in Final Destination: Bloodlines. Tony Todd, who passed away in November 2024, also makes an appearance as funeral home owner William Bludworth who knows all about Death. There will likely be at least one compelling scene where Stefanie talks to Bludworth and tries to figure out how to move forward. Bludworth is always wise and the Final Destination franchise wouldn’t be the same without him.
So, who died in this teaser scene? Was he the person Stefanie was searching for, and now she’s going to have a harder time finding answers? Is he a relative of hers who was supposed to die? All these questions will be answered when Final Destination: Bloodlines is released in theaters on May 16th, 2025. From this teaser trailer, fans can get even more excited about the sixth movie.
