Squad Leader Mining Unit 1 will most likely start the fight with its Charged Blast attack. Dodge or counter it with your Chain Whip ability to deal massive damage. Then, use normal attacks and the boss is likely to throw dynamite now, so run away and use the ranged skill, Barrage.
You must play with caution as the boss deals tremendous amounts of damage. So, playing without caution may cause you to die. Just stay focused, use the parry ability when you are certain and try to utilize all of the abilities in your arsenal.
Try to use your Barrage ability more often. When the boss is charging the blast, run away to the opposite side and use the Barrage skill to deal a lot of posture damage. You can stay away from him when he throws dynamite and use that opportunity to use the Barrage skill.
The boss doesn’t have a second phase, so repeating the aforementioned process will give you victory.
