Honor of Kings announced the esports roadmap for 2025 a few weeks back. As the game is on the verge of opening this year with exciting events, one is already knocking at the door. The King Pro League (KPL) Spring 2025 is here with a new look and exciting MOBA action from the popular title.

The event is scheduled to kick off on the 12th of February 2025 with 18 participants. It will allocate a huge prize pool as well for the contenders. The offline event takes place in China.

King Pro League (KPL) Spring 2025: Schedule and Format

This event will be the 18th season of the King Pro League. The grand run will kick off with the Group Stage which is scheduled to start on the 12th of February 2025. This stage will have four sub-stages. The details of the substages are as follows:

Stage Schedule
Stage 1 February 12th – March 2nd, 2025
Stage 2 March 5th – March 30th, 2025
Seat Decider Match April 1st & 2nd, 2025
Stage 3 April 5th – 20th, 2025

Except for the seat decider stage matches, the rest of the stages will follow a BO5 system. All the matches will follow a single-round robin format.

10 teams will make their way to the Playoffs stage. From the 24th of April to the 4th of May 2025, this stage will run. In a double-elimination bracket, all the matches will follow the BO7 format. The top two teams will play the grand finals after qualifying throw the upper and lower bracket finals. The final match will be a BO7.

King Pro League (KPL) Spring 2025 will feature a total of 18 teams for the glory. For the second time in a row, this season will feature 2 new temporary seats and the slots are allocated to Qing Jiu Club and Kai Lun Gaming. The defending champion AG Super Play will try to carry the form to this year as well. However, the following teams will be competing in the event.

Prize Pool

A huge amount of ¥15,000,000 (almost $2,071,000) will be divided among the teams based on their overall placement after the end of the event. The champion will receive the highest. We do not have the detailed allocation for each team. But the details, so far, are as follows:
