A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is potentially teasing more details about rumored characters Cipher and Hysilens, both expected to debut during Amphoreus. The launch of the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG’s fourth playable world has brought a plethora of new cast members to the game’s roster, with plenty more set to arrive throughout the next patches. Version 3.0 welcomed both The Herta and Aglaea to the game, while Version 3.1 will introduce another pair of new characters with the launch of Mydei and Tribbie. Now, recent leaks are hinting at the gameplay of even more new characters from Amphoreus.

Beyond Honkai: Star Rail‘s upcoming Version 3.1 update, HoYoverse has teased plenty more characters, with several also being leaked for release. Version 3.2 is heavily expected to introduce Castorice and Anaxa to the playable cast, while more main members of the world’s cast like Phainon and Hyacine are expected to arrive later. Leaks have even begun to tease the crossover characters coming with Honkai: Star Rail‘s crossover with Fate/Stay Night, with Archer and Saber expected to be playable. Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Cipher, Hysilens Gameplay

A new update shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Uncle Hellgirl is teasing gameplay details for Cipher and Hysilens following their playable release. According to the leak, Cipher is no longer expected to join Honkai: Star Rail‘s roster as a DoT-focused unit, with the Chrysos Heir’s role in Star Rail now unclear. The post also suggests that the DoT-focused abilities previously associated with Cipher will now be utilized by Hysilens following their release in Honkai: Star Rail. A release window has not been confirmed for either Cipher’s or Hysilens’ debut to the playable roster.

While many of the details about Cipher and Hysilens are unclear, both characters could potentially be later additions to the Amphoreus roster, similar to past worlds’ cycles. Despite appearing in the Version 2.0 update, Sunday was not made playable until the end of the Penacony cycle with his release in Version 2.7. HoYoverse has often staggered the release of its regional cast in its other games as well, with Genshin Impact‘s Clorinde not releasing until Version 4.7 despite appearing in Fontaine’s launch update.

Honkai: Star Rail looks to have plenty coming to keep players engaged while they wait for more of Amphoreus’ playable cast. Version 3.1 is heavily expected to be another sizable update to the sci-fi RPG, with a new version of the Divergent Universe set to arrive during the patch. The update is also rumored to be adding a new permanent game mode as one of its main events, alongside the next batch of exploreable areas within Amphoreus. Honkai: Star Rail fans shouldn’t have to wait long to see even more exciting content for the game’s newest world.
