Pokemon GO has revealed a new Raid Day featuring Hoopa Unbound that will take place on February 15. The current Pokemon GO season began in December last year, and Hoopa Unbound’s appearance in the official trailer caught the attention of fans. Since then, the community has been waiting for news about when the Mythical Pokemon will appear again in the game.

Hoopa is a Psychic/Ghost-type introduced in Gen 6 whose design reminds players of a Djinn (or genie). While its best-known form is the Confined, its real form is the Unbound. This form is unleashed after using the Prison Bottle, turning Hoopa into a six-armed bipedal creature and one of the biggest Pokemon ever. In Pokemon GO, players saw Hoopa Confined and Unbound for the first time in 2021, with the Unbound one debuting during the Mischief Unbound event.
