How to Invite Friends in Lost Castle 2

Enter a save file.
Interact with the campfire in the middle of the Camp.
Select the option that says “Create Room.”
Set the rules. (Difficulty, Privacy, and Player Count.)
Create the room.
Open the pause menu (ESC) and select “Team Info.”
Click “Invite Friends” to ask them to join your game.

If your friend’s name doesn’t show up on the invitation screen, ask them to join the room using your code. Upon setting up the room, you will see a unique code in the top-right corner of the screen. Share this with your friends so they can find your party and join.

How to Join a Game

Ask for the room’s code.

If you don’t have a code but still want to play with others, choose the “Quick Match” option. This lets you join a random public room. However, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re eager to play with others. It’s usually better to start an adventure with players you can communicate with, as Lost Castle 2 relies heavily on team tactics and strategy. Joining random rooms often leads to a chaotic play style that might not suit your approach.

How to Play Local Couch Co-Op

Interact with the campfire in the middle of the Camp.
Select the first option at the top that says “Local Multiplayer.”
Press the designated button on the second controller.
Join the party and start your adventure.

If you are on a PC, one player can join the game with a mouse and keyboard while the other is using a controller.

Multiplayer’s AFK Mode Explained

In Lost Castle 2, inactive party members won’t disrupt the adventure as long as they choose the AFK mode. When a player chooses the AFK mode from the pause menu, they are temporarily removed from the party, allowing the rest of the team to carry on the expedition.

It’s important to note that AFK players won’t earn rewards for their party’s advancements. So, keeping it on for long durations might indeed imbalance the team. The returning AKK player might find it challenging to keep up with your team, which has earned multiple buffs and high-level equipment.
