Most players have gotten used to the controls and mechanics of the more Sims games, which is why they might run into some problems when first trying out The Sims 2. Most things aren’t as obvious or as straightforward, so it’s up to players to explore the various options and interactions that they can try out.

Unlike in The Sims 2, gamers can’t simply open the romance social tab when interacting with a romantic partner and select Try for a Baby or WooHoo. There are a couple of extra steps, but this guide will explain to players how it all works so they shouldn’t have any trouble at all doing it.
How to WooHoo in The Sims 2
As long as two Sims have a high enough romantic relationship with one another, they will be able to WooHoo or try for a baby. If that is the case between your two Sims, then you’re in luck.
To get two Sims to WooHoo, gamers must interact with the bed while controlling each Sim and command them to Relax on it. Alternatively, they can also do it if they have a hot tub. If that’s the case, all they have to do is get in and start cuddling. Once the Sims are cuddling or relaxing together, the player must select the Sim’s significant other and select the option to WooHoo.
How to Try for a Baby in The Sims 2
Players must follow these same steps if they’d like to try for a baby. However, instead of pressing WooHoo, they have to select the Try For Baby option.
After the Sims try for a baby, gamers must wait around 24 in-game hours to verify if the Sim is truly pregnant or if the couple has to try again.
