February 10 Will Be The Tip of a Big Iceberg for Disney Lorcana

2024 was a crucial year for Disney Lorcana, as it was the game’s first full year of releases, and it didn’t disappoint with four new expansions and some mechanics that added depth to the game – all while developing the story in the background and releasing new products, like the Deep Trouble box with Ursula’s Return. Disney Lorcana will grow even more throughout 2025, and while the overall pace may be slower, with only three new sets as opposed to four from 2024, there are bound to be big changes coming. Archazia’s Island will introduce a new card type, but even if the expansion comes out in March, the next big date to keep an eye on is February 10.

With Archazia’s Island, Disney Lorcana will add dual-Ink cards, which have two different Ink types on them. It is currently unclear if dual-Ink cards will count as both Ink colors at once, but this will be a key piece of information. The game currently allows players to make decks with up to two Ink colors at a time, so if dual-Ink cards count as both colors, one is inherently limited to using those two in a given deck that includes these new cards. More will likely be revealed soon, though, as February 10 is when the official reveals for Archazia’s Island start.

What to Expect From Disney Lorcana’s New Archazia’s Island Set

As the first big Disney Lorcana expansion of 2025, Archazia’s Island has a lot riding on its shoulders – especially considering that it’s almost guaranteed that this year will only have three sets instead of four. With a whole set dedicated to pets from across Disney properties, including the newly added Bolt and Lady and the Tramp, Archazia’s Island already seems like a big hit. It will also be the first time in the game that a new, non-canon character is introduced – the titular Disney Lorcana owl called Archazia.

So far, the official social media accounts for the game have revealed a few new cards coming in Archazia’s Island, but these are but sneak peeks. The full reveal for the set will start on February 10, and it’s plausible that new reveals will keep going for at least a few weeks or even up until the next expansion launches. On top of that, it’s likely that players will get a release date for Disney Lorcana‘s next set, as it is currently scheduled for March 2025 without a specific day set in stone.

Why February 10 is Going to be a Big Day For Disney Lorcana

Considering the reveals for the latest set, Disney Lorcana‘s Azurite Sea, started in the second week of September and ended on November 1, it only makes sense that many cards will be revealed in February – but not all at once. For Azurite Sea, the whole set was available to see on the Disney Lorcana Companion App on November 5, so it seems plausible that February 10 will have a handful of reveals and only go from there daily or at least 4-5 times per week until March. It’s not guaranteed that players will get a full release date on February 10, either, and it’s possible that it will be announced later on.

In fact, based on the reveals so far and the fact that the bigger reveals will happen starting February 10, it’s likely that Archazia’s Island will come out at least after the second week of March. What follows is that February 10 is only going to be the start of a deeper dive into the expansion, so fans will have some good news to chew on for a while after that. Between official reveals on social media and community-announced cards, there will be plenty of new Disney Lorcana cards that will rear their heads in the coming days.
