Devil May Cry Anime Opening Revealed

Capcom’s Devil May Cry is one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time. The hit action series has millions of fans worldwide who are eager to try new content released by the franchise.

While there haven’t been any game announcements, Devil May Cry fans still have something to look forward to in 2025. In 2024, it was revealed that the Devil May Cry anime adaptation would air in April 2025. However, the exact release date was not disclosed to the audience. Thankfully, the official X (formerly Twitter) for Netflix anime confirmed that Devil May Cry will premiere on April 3, 2025. Aside from the release date, the account also revealed that Limp Bizkit’s Rollin’ is the opening song for the anime series.

Devil May Cry Has A Lot Of Promise

So far, the only confirmed voice cast member for Devil May Cry anime is Johnny Yong Bosch who will voice Dante, the protagonist of the series. In the games, Dante is voiced by Reuben Langdon. This particular choice might agitate fans, but they should wait and see his performance before making up their minds. The other voice cast members could be announced in the coming weeks.

The Devil May Cry anime series is being directed by Adi Shankar, the man responsible for Castlevania. He has proven himself as a capable director, so fans do not fret about the show’s quality. Joining Adi Shankar is Alex Larsen, and he will serve as the lead writer for the series. Last, but not least, Studio Mir will produce the anime. The studio has worked on the following projects:

With so much experience under its belt, Studio Mir is a great fit for the Devil May Cry anime. The studio already gave fans a glimpse of its quality in the trailer launched in 2024.

The Devil May Cry anime will consist of eight episodes and all of them will be released on April 3, 2025, meaning viewers won’t be tormented by weekly releases.
