Most of the focus in Synduality: Echo of Ada is centered around sorties, heading out into the world and gathering materials, fending off rival players, picking up bounties, and generally just surviving. A nice bit of variety gets added to that flow with the introduction of the CIC missions, which are linear and entirely single-player.

Synduality: Echo Of Ada – How To Unlock Single-Player Missions
Synduality is mainly a shared experience, though there are some unique single-player missions you can unlock, too.
Without having to fear for your life, it makes the missions all the more enjoyable. After completing the first mission, the Investigation Squad Base, you can begin the Bandits’ Hideout. This one is a pretty significant difficulty jump compared to the previous one, so have your wits about you, and let’s find all of those surveillance logs.
Where To Find Every Surveillance Log
In the Bandits’ Hideout, there are five surveillance logs for you to find. As before, only one of these is actually mandatory and is found at the very end of the mission. Here’s where to find all five of them.
If you do miss any logs in your first run, you can replay the mission to find any you didn’t get the first time, with the already claimed ones removed from the map.
Surveillance Log #1
After reaching the circular area with a small factory above it, head to the south-west corner after clearing out the enemies. Climb up the cliff face here to reach it, and send your Magus to investigate. After you turn to leave this area, a new Bandit will spawn behind you so keep your eyes open.
Surveillance Log #2
Inside the large base with many enemies, clear them out and then pass the fence. To one end will be the elevator you need to go further. Directly opposite will be a cave with a destroyed cradlecoffin inside, holding the surveillance log.
A group of enemies will spawn outside the cave after entering it, so have your weapons ready.
Surveillance Log #3
After encountering the exterior of the next base, you can proceed left, where there is a sniper and the path forward, or right to find the next surveillance log. Head right, and defeat the two incubators in this shallow lake. At the end will be a destroyed cradlecoffin for your Magus to investigate.
This takes a good while, and multiple waves of Enders will spawn, mainly Chasers and Crawlers, so make sure you’re healed up and have your weapons ready.
Surveillance Log #4
Take the left path now and continue through the enemies until you reach another circular area, including containers you must climb to proceed. Defeat the many enemies here and then open the container near the back of this area. The surveillance log will be inside.
Surveillance Log #5
This is the last and only surveillance log that is required. After entering the final base, the doors will lock and you must defeat every enemy inside to proceed. After this, the final door will open and you can proceed to the final surveillance log. Let your Magus investigate it, after which the mission will be completed.
Critical Path Through The Mission
Gathering all the surveillance logs is of course your primary goal during this mission, but staying alive is just as important. You don’t get to keep anything you pick up, but there are some powerful weapons here that will be a massive help, so make sure you pick them up along the way.
You start in a wooded area, and almost every enemy in this mission will be Bandits, so make sure to always pack a Ballistics weapon with you. As you progress forward into a more desert environment, you will start to see Bandits equipped with snipers. They deal devastating damage, especially from behind, so make sure to take cover and only take a few shots at a time.
When you reach the first circular area with a small factory above you, weave around until you reach the higher platform. There will be a wall you can excavate with a single enemy inside. Defeat them, and then pick up the Burst Rifle from the container in the back. This is a powerful weapon, though Energy ammo will be in short supply, so use it sparingly.
Take the yellow pole up to the higher level now to reach a military base. This area is littered with enemies, so take your time moving through it. There are lots of areas to take cover for both you and the enemy, so make sure they don’t take you by surprise.
Despite the fencing seeming quite thin, you sadly cannot shoot through it.
After defeating every enemy, speed towards the elevator to the north and get to a lower level, which will leave you before yet another military base. Take the path to the left to go forward, but make sure to take out the sniper from the safety of the bridge first.
Following the left path, you will soon reach another circular area packed with enemies. Take your time taking them down, moving around the area to keep your distance as needed. Alternatively, you can just ignore these enemies and jump onto the containers to reach the interior of the military base from earlier.
Once inside, the doors will lock and all the enemies will be altered to your presence. Thankfully, you’re already in an ideal position right where you are. You have cover around you, and there’s only one way to reach you. If you’ve been picking up Burst Mines throughout the mission, place them right beside the yellow pole leading to your area to catch any ambushers by surprise.
Ideally, you’ll have a Sniper Rifle of your own to deal with the enemies from afar. You want to avoid leaving your area for the entirety of this fight if possible. Once they’re all down, you can proceed forward, let your Magus investigate the final surveillance log, and you’re free. Mission complete.
