If you’re anything like me, you’ve already used up each and every one of your Pack Hourglasses that you saved for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s newest expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, and you just want to rip some more packs. Unfortunately, Pack Hourglasses are a little hard to come by at the moment, so you’re left sitting on your hands until the timer has counted down.

Four events and a new expansion are apparently coming next month.
Thankfully, DeNA has quietly added another mission in which you can earn yourself a couple of extra Hourglasses and get to that next pack a little quicker.
New Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Tutorial Mission Offers Free Pack Hourglasses
Like most players, you’ve probably not looked at Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s battle guides since the day the game launched, but as of the latest update, it’s probably worth doing so.
If you head to the battle tab and then click the “Guide” button, you’ll see the list of tutorials the game throws your way. Scroll to the bottom, and you’ll find a new tutorial mission called “Play a Pokemon Tool card!” A quick 30-second pre-determined battle later, you’ll earn yourself a pair of Pack Hourglasses, saving you a couple of hours towards your next booster.
Pokemon Tools already look set to shape up Pokemon TCG Pocket’s meta, with a pair of them released as part of the latest expansion. Giant Cape blesses any Pokemon that it’s attached to with an extra 20 HP, and, more worryingly, Rocky Helmet deals 20 damage to any Pokemon that dares attack the Pokemon that it’s attached to.
While 20 damage doesn’t seem like much, it means Druddigon is going to become even more of a terror, as when combined with its Rough Skin ability, the Pokemon can deal 40 damage without even attacking.
It’s swings and roundabouts, though. Yes, Drudiggon will get more annoying, but at least you got a couple of Pack Hourglasses for their addition.
