Summary
- LEGO fan creates impressive Absol build, gaining attention from Pokemon fans online.
- Absol, known as the Disaster Pokemon, is a Dark-type.
An artistically talented Pokemon fan has caught the attention of hundreds of other fellow Pokemon fans online after posting their LEGO build of the fan-favorite Pokemon, Absol. The impressive build, which manages to recreate the Pokemon’s uniquely shaped features – largely with great success – has others already asking for the instructions.
Absol is a Dark-type Pokemon introduced as part of Pokemon‘s third generation, and is one that is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon. Known as the Disaster Pokemon, Absol is seen as a harbinger of disaster, although its intent is to warn people when it senses one approaching. While Absol has otherwise been available to catch in every single generation since being introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, it is among the lengthy list of Pokemon Missing From Gen 9 After Scarlet and Violet‘s Indigo Disk DLC.

Pokemon Fan Uses 3D Printer to Make Impressive Steelix Card
A creative Pokemon fan is being lauded by fellow fans for utilizing their 3D printer to craft a three-dimensional card of Steelix.
The remarkable LEGO build of Absol comes from a Reddit user with the handle of eyemcantoeknees, who posted their creation to one of the forum site’s primary Pokemon pages. Set against a fitting white backdrop, given its usual location in alpine regions, the LEGO Absol looks strikingly similar to its standard counterpart. Beyond nailing the coloring, the creator of the build manages to include finer detail, such as the ruff around its neck and chest area, its claws, and overall silhouette. Although Absol’s horn may not be as accurate as a prior LEGO Houndoom build the fan shared, the creation is undoubtedly impressive.
This particular Pokemon fan is quite prolific when it comes to LEGO Pokemon builds, with eyemcantoeknees making plenty of headlines for their previous creations. The Pokemon fan has built LEGO Eeveelutions, Luxray, Ho-Oh, and more recently, a LEGO version of Magnemite. Another build that looks shockingly like its source material, the creator also included step-by-step instructions on how someone can build it themselves. The OP responded to such a request in the LEGO Absol’s comment section, noting that they have instructions available via a link in their profile.
Absol-utely Impressive Fan Art
In addition to being re-imagined as a LEGO figure, Pokemon fans have flexed their imaginative muscle with the Pokemon in other ways, including the popular fan concept of fusion. One fan decided to fuse Mega Absol with Mega Houndoom, with the result yielding a striking canine creature that looks like it could be equal parts good and evil. While vastly different from the LEGO Absol pictured above, the variety of fan art is a testament to the breadth of creativity rampant throughout the Pokemon fanbase.
