But don’t let that deter you. Many characters in the game, such as Pai Chan, can flip certain aspects of the game’s strict systems on their heads, allowing for player expression and various win conditions. There is likely a character in the game that will check all the boxes you need them to, allowing you to enjoy some tremendously engaging martial arts combat!
Pai Chan Overview
Pai Chan is a very fascinating character in Virtua Fighter 5 Revo, as she’s not only one of the fastest characters in the game, but she also has access to several strong Grab options, making her a substantial threat on offense when she gets going. While everyone has decent grabs, the better they are, the slower the character tends to be, which isn’t the case for her.
Furthermore, Pai Chan is very nimble, and lots of her actions can evade incoming attacks as they are very low-profiled, allowing her to duck under Highs with ease while delivering a devastating Counter Hit that can lead to her dealing immense damage to her opponent.
Not only that, but she also has access to Counters that can parry many High and Mid Attacks, which makes her even more terrifying to approach if you’re on the opposing side. If that isn’t enough, she can also enter a handful of stances that will keep her opponent on their toes. She’s excellent for beginners and has a high skill ceiling, making her very rewarding to play and learn!

Pai Chan Tips And Tricks
As you can see from the information above, Pai Chan is a jack of all trades and a master of none. She wears that playstyle on her sleeve, allowing her to explore many different aspects of Virtua Fighter 5 Revo’s combat system and access many abilities that make her blazingly fast speed even more troublesome to deal with.
Jabs and Throws are typically the fastest moves in the game, and Pai Chan also thrives in that area as well and has one of the fastest Highs in the game with her 5P, which is only 11 Frames on hit, while most others will be 12. Not only that, but that comes with the expected pros, leaving her on Plus Frames even when blocked, making it a solid move to throw out to interrupt your opponent.
Chan also has one of the best Mids in the game, allowing her to deliver a quick and potent palm attack with her Souanshou attack (d/f P+K), a 12-frame Mid Attack that will beat out most Lows. This, in addition to her many Reversals, makes her very hard to deal with once she begins implementing her offense!
