Luckily, whether you’re on PC or console, there are solutions available through the community. Player-made item filters are broadly available to help you keep track of only good items while you explore Wraeclast. Below, we’ll take a look at how to enable loot filters on console, as there’s one extra step involved compared to PC.

First, you’ll need to link your console to your Path of Exile 2 account. To do this, head to the Path of Exile website, then select log in at the upper-left side of the screen.

Once you’ve logged in with your Path of Exile account, select “manage account” from the list on the right of the screen. Here, under the Secondary Login options, choose to Connect to either Sony or Microsoft, depending on your console of choice.

This will prompt you to sign in with your Xbox or PlayStation account. Once you’ve done so, your Path of Exile and console accounts will be linked.

How To Enable Console Loot Filters

Now, to get loot filters set up, head back to your account page and select the “Item Filters” option on the right side of the screen.

Here, under the Followed Item Filters section, click on Item Filter Ladder. This will open up a list of community-created loot filters for a variety of playstyles, classes, and more.

From the Game Type drop-down, be sure to select PoE2 to only show item filters for Path of Exile 2.

Once you’ve found a suitable loot filter, simply click the Follow button to add it to your list of followed item filters. Followed item filters will appear automatically in the game.

To find them, head back into the game and open the options menu, then select the Game tab. The first option under General is Item Filter. Opening the drop-down here will show you a list of all the item filters you’ve followed back on the website. Select the one you followed, and it will be applied to the game!

It may take a few minutes from when you follow the item filter for it to show up activated in-game. Try waiting or opening and closing another game in the meantime.
