When you first start out in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Fast Travel is not available. After exploring the island for a little while, meeting some iconic and familiar Sanrio characters, and completing quests, you may start to feel a bit tired of walking to get everywhere. Thankfully, the game does have a Fast Travel system.

Once you reach the second area, the Spooky Swamp, the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Fast Travel system will become available. This guide explains what you need to do to unlock Fast Travel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure and what you must do to activate all Fast Travel Points spread throughout the world.
How To Fast Travel In Hello Kitty Island Adventure
First, Unlock The Fast Travel Mailbox System
You have probably found many Mailboxes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure while exploring, but they don’t do anything until you get to the Spooky Swamp. After you complete the ‘Power Up The Gate’ quest (which requires the Yellow Power Crystals), head into the Spooky Swamp and go north to eventually find Kuromi.
Kuromi is a white rabbit with a black jester’s hat who will try to spook you in the Spooky Swamp. After finding her for the first time, she will walk to the center of the swamp and stand next to a Mailbox. Here, she will ask you to deliver a Pumpkin to My Melody.
Activate the Mailbox next to Kuromi, then run back to the main island and head into My Melody’s shop. Gift her the Pumpkin, and she will ask you to bring Kuromi a Coastal Potted Plant as a thank you.

Cinnomoroll will overhear this request and offer to teach you how to use Fast Travel Mailboxes. Follow Cinnomoroll outside to the Resort Plaza Mailbox, where she will teach you how to use the Mailboxes. After the incredibly cute Cinnomoroll teleports away, walk up and activate the Mailbox. This will add it to your list of Fast Travel locations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
To Fast Travel, Select An Activated Mailbox On Your Map
Once you have activated a Fast Travel Mailbox, it will become a Fast Travel Point on your world map. Open up the map by pressing left on the D-pad or by selecting the Map app in your Phone.
On the left, you will see a full list of all Fast Travel points in Hello Kitty Island Adventure that you have unlocked. Right now, you should have the Resort Plaza and Spooky Swamp Fast Travel points.
To Fast Travel, Hello Kitty Island Adventure players can either select a location from the left-side list, or scroll directly over the Fast Travel Mailbox location and select it.
The screen will go dark, and almost immediately you will appear at the Fast Travel Mailbox you selected. It’s not exactly a realistic Fast Travel system, but it’s fast!
No time passes when you Fast Travel, and you do not need to be at a Mailbox to use the Fast Travel system – you can Fast Travel any time you are outdoors by simply opening your map and selecting a spot. Fast Travel does not work in interior areas, though, it only works in the open world.
