After spending a couple months hanging out in the season that started it all, the Fortnite OG experience is finally moving on to Season 2. And, just as in December, Season 2 introduces a new OG Pass that includes remixes of two battle pass skins and one shop skin that first appeared way back when this season happened the first time–we’ve got new versions of Cuddle Team Leader, Sparkle Specialist, and Black Knight, along with multiple style options and full sets of cosmetics for each of them.
The new Spark Diva skin unlocks instantly when you buy the skin or unlock it via Fortnite Crew, and the highlight may just be that character’s glider: an old, default-style glider covered in sequins that plays a song while you ride. This pass has all the bells and whistles you’d usually expect: back blings, pickaxes, gliders, emotes, emoticons, sprays, and so on that match with all three skins.
While Sparkle Diva and Knight Conqueror skins are certainly inspired by skins that were only ever obtainable from the original time-limited Season 2 battle pass that launched in 2017, they aren’t identical. There was some hope, after the return of the Season 1 shop with Renegade Raider, that the proper Season 2 battle pass might return with OG Season 2. If Epic ever manages a justification for bringing back old battle pass cosmetics, it clearly will not be by simply re-selling those passes in full.
The OG Pass for Season 2 costs 1000 V-Bucks, or $9, to purchase directly, and you can also access it by purchasing a subscription to Fortnite Crew for $12 per month. Fortnite OG Season 2 wraps up March 25, so you’ve got about eight weeks to complete it. Scroll on for a look at every item that’s included.
