Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika
User: Luffy
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is one of the most powerful Devil Fruits to ever exist. It is the most ridiculous ability in history, and, simply put, it grants the user, Luffy, a rubbery body, and the power to fight with immense freedom. Awakening grants him an even more rubbery body and allows him to utilize his imagination to do impossible things.
As long as Luffy can imagine something, he can always make it real, and the only limitation he truly has is his imagination. More than that, fans know that this ability allows him to transform into the Sun God, Nika. Luffy is the one chosen by the fruit to oppose the World Government and then bring it all crashing down, which attaches special importance to his Devil Fruit.

Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit
User: Loki
More recently in One Piece, specifically in chapter 1130, fans were introduced to another legendary Devil Fruit. This fruit is known to hold special regard in the land of Elbaf, and it is said that it was passed down by the royal family in the country.
Loki, one of the two Princes of Elbaf, managed to eat the devil fruit by killing his own father, King Harald. Loki holds the legendary power, and he believes this ability to be directly related to the Sun God in some way. Clearly, this is something that fans need to take into consideration, especially given that the entirety of Elbaf believes his powers to be strong enough to destroy the entire world.

Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami
User: Yamato
Another legendary ability that holds special importance in One Piece is the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami. This Devil Fruit was eaten by none other than Yamato, Kaido’s very own child. This fruit, as the name implies, allows Yamato to transform into a wolf deity.

Zoro is a powerful haki user in One Piece. However, many characters vastly surpass him.
This fruit has special importance, because it must belong to the guardian deity of Wano, historically speaking. Now that Yamato has this power, Yamato must ensure the safety of Wano, which means that this will have great repercussions in the future of the story.

Ope Ope no Mi
User: Trafalgar Law
Also known as the Ultimate Devil Fruit, the Ope Ope no Mi Army has great significance in the Final Saga of One Piece. Although fans might not realize it just yet, Doflamingo clearly pointed out the specialty of this Devil Fruit. This Devil Fruit has two special powers, and one of them grants perennial youth to someone, while the other allows the user to switch bodies. Imu, the current Sovereign of the World, seemingly utilized these powers at some point, with the immortality power seemingly having kept him alive till now.
Fans know that this ability will be of great importance in the grand scheme of things, and Oda will greatly elaborate upon Law and his ability in the Final Saga at some point later down the line.

Imu’s Devil Fruit Ability
User: Imu
As fans know, Imu has a very powerful Devil Fruit ability as well. So far, the power that Imu holds has not been elaborated upon in One Piece, but, it is only a matter of time before Oda does that. All the Elders, whose ability debuted alongside Imu, have had their powers revealed. Imu is the only one from the World Government hierarchy whose abilities are not clear.
Naturally, being the Sovereign of the entire world and the biggest antagonist in the series, Imu’s powers will be absolutely terrifying. Regardless of what creature it ends up being, fans know that it will have special importance attached to it, just by virtue of being the ability that Imu holds. Yami Yami no Mi Finally, the Yami Yami no Mi is yet another incredibly important Devil Fruit in One Piece. Fans know this fruit to be special in more than one way. This fruit is said to be the most sinister of all abilities and Blackbeard also claims that the power is the strongest. It makes sense, considering the fact that this ability allows Blackbeard to nullify the power of other Devil Fruit users. The darkness fruit is a very special type of a Logia Devil Fruit, and it will be of great importance in the final saga, even directly connected to the Void Century in some ways.
