Snipe Elite: Resistance features 3 skill trees similar to those that appeared in Sniper Elite 5. However, these are designed to look less like trees and more like bullseyes. Players will need to select the middle skill of each tree before they are able to branch out and select those surrounding it.
Likewise, players will need to select a skill in the inner ring of a skill tree before they can select one of the outermost skills of that skill tree. Players may be wondering what the best skills to get early are and which ones can be picked up later.

This guide will help players find all the collectibles in Sonderzuge Sabotage, the third mission in Sniper Elite: Resistance.
What Are the Skill Trees in Sniper Elite: Resistance
One of the basics to become familiar with in Sniper Elite: Resistance is its skill trees. There are 3 different colored skill trees. The first skill tree is green and is called Combat. This skill tree will benefit players when their cover is blown or when they receive too much damage.
The second skill tree is blue and is called Equipment. Investing in this skill tree allows one to be better prepared for missions. Lastly, there is the red skill tree. This is the Body skill tree and will improve players’ focus and survivability. Out of all the Sniper Elite games, only the more modern titles make use of skills in this way.
Best Early Skills for Sniper Elite: Resistance
Each of these trees offers great benefits, but players don’t need to invest heavily in just one tree before moving onto the next. Players can earn enough skill points to fill all trees. Investing in different trees at different times can make the game much easier, giving players a much better experience with Sniper Elite: Resistance.
Back in the Fight
- Tree: Combat
- Cost 1 Skill Point
The first skill players will want to get is Back in the Fight. This will let a player use a health pack to get themselves back up if they should fall in battle. Even in co-op this is an invaluable skill to get, as it will let players divide and conquer to complete objectives, as well as flank from distant points while having the option to get themselves up.
Scavenge Weapon Ammo
- Tree: Equipment
- Cost: 1 Skill Point
This skill is just as valuable as Back in the Fight. However, players will not need it in the first mission, as they will have more than enough ammo from searching enemies. However, later missions can see players running completely dry from time to time. This skill will keep players’ rifles well stocked.
Triangulation
- Tree: Combat
- Cost: 1 Skill Point
Players will want to strike silently and unseen, but sometimes an enemy may do the same. Players will be able to pick this skill up by investing in the path to the right of Back in the Fight. Triangulation will cost them 1 skill point, and it will mark enemies that hit the player. This is perfect for times when players take damage, as it lets them look at their minimap to pinpoint who their attacker is.
Advanced Triangulation
- Tree: Combat
- Cost: 1 Skill Point
Players can invest 2 more skill points for Advanced Triangulation after they have the Triangulation skill. This will reveal enemies that shoot at the player regardless if their shots connect. Players can pop out of cover for a second, then drop back down to let enemies fire and miss. Revealing multiple attackers on their minimap. Binoculars may work best for marking distant enemies, but this skill excels for the ones that are close-up.
Health Boost
- Tree: Body Cost: 1 Skill Point
The biggest drawback to this skill is that it lies to the right of Maintain Focus, which costs 1 Skill Point before you can take Health Boost. However, this gives players an additional bit of life to soak up any damage that comes their way, making it easier to explore around every corner for a collectible.
Health Boost 2
- Tree: Body Cost: 2 Skill Point
This skill gives players another extra bar of health for when things get hairy. Players will find themselves with 1 bar of health while they search bodies for bandages and medkits, and this puts them at risk for every firefight going forward until they can get some. Should they find themselves under fire from multiple sides, this also gives them a chance to make a run for it.
- Tree: Equipment
- Cost: 1 Skill Point
This is the skill to the left of Scavenge Weapon Ammo and will allow players to bring more items with them. Having some extra bandages means players can easily recover from a bad start. This won’t let you bring extra ammo types such as Armor Piercing to deal with tanks. That is another skill entirely.
Players need not worry about things like throwing back grenades or using a secondary weapon while down. Relocating is a habit players should get into, and a pistol can deal with any enemies nearby before patching yourself up. These early skills will be ideal for starting the game and seeing how you choose to play through levels. You can then invest in the elements you feel best fit your playstyle.
