With one Energy from your Energy Zone, Energy acceleration from Moltres ex, and Dawn letting you shuffle some Energy around, Infernape ex can just keep beating your opponent down each turn until you secure the victory.

Garchomp may not be a legendary Pokemon, but fans sure treat it like one. This is the third Dragon-type introduced into Pokemon Pocket, and it lives up to its reputation. Garchomp requires one Water and one Fighting Energy to use Dragon Claw for 100 damage. This can be enhanced in combination with Cynthia for 150 damage.

It’s never really a dry season when it comes to Water-type support in Pokemon Pocket. In fact, you can pick up this essential card for the Palkia ex strategy in the very same pack. This is Manaphy, and it can splash Water Energies onto two of your Pokemon sitting on the Bench.

Weavile ex is a sought after card from the Palkia side of Space-Time Smackdown due to its synergy with Darkrai ex. However, to get them both, you will need to dive into both packs. Weavile ex gets stronger if it’s attacking an injured Pokemon.

Just one damage counter will give Weavile ex a consistent 70 damage for only one Energy. Weavile is right at home in this set with so many different ways to poke at your opponent’s Bench. It can also Retreat easily with only one Energy required to go back to the Bench.

Lickilicky ex

A Coin Flip Card With A Powerful Base

Coin flip cards don’t usually come with good base damage. That’s the tradeoff when the coin flip themselves can break the damage ceiling. Lickilicky ex, on the other hand, gets a whopping 100 guaranteed damage and 40 additional for each heads you land on.

In many ways, Cyrus is even better than Sabrina. The only catch is that you need to spread damage counters onto your opponent’s Bench before it can do anything. In return for completing this little prerequisite, you can make the choice of what Pokemon gets dragged out.

Sabrina lets your opponent choose targets, while Cyrus lets you take full control. If the math adds up, you can use this to knock out a Pokemon that is close to being knocked out and secure the points you need to win the match.

Cynthia

The New Blaine

Step aside Blaine, there’s a new power-enhancing Trainer in town. Cynthia gives two of her signature Pokemon a 50 damage power boost during their next attack. For Garchomp, this means its Dragon Claw does 150 damage for a combination of one Fire and one Fighting Energy.

Mars acts similar to a Red Card since it shuffles your opponent’s hand back to the deck. The main difference is that Mars goes a little further in punishing your opponent. Instead of giving your opponent the comfort of having three cards in their hands after being used, Mars is determinant on points needed to win.

So if your opponent knocks out one of your ex Pokemon, hit them with Mars. Since they only need one point to win, they now have to work with only one card in their hand.

Palkia ex

Ripping The Field Apart

Palkia ex is one of the most ruthless ex Pokemon in the entire game. With so many options to get more Water Energy, Dimensional Storm becomes easy to pay for and what you get is well worth the investment.

That’s 150 damage on your opponent’s Active Pokemon and an additional 20 to each Pokemon on the Bench. If you get this Pokemon to full power before your opponent does, it can even one-shot itself during a mirror match. This makes Palkia ex the chase card that you want to pull from this pack.
