Where to Find & Catch Smokie in Palworld

In Palworld, Smokie is a Pal native to the Feybreak island only, meaning players will need to level themselves up to the point of being able to access such a location. They will also need a flight mount Pal or Pal capable of water travel to cross the ocean and reach Feybreak island, to begin with. Before heading to Feybreak, you will need to prepare by ensuring you have plenty of ammunition, medicine, and strong Pals to bring with you, as this island is full of Pals at the level of 30-50+.

Once you reach Feybreak, Smokie can be found throughout pretty much the entirety of the top half of the island. Smokie’s exact habitat has been indicated in the map screenshot below, indicated with orange markers. Lastly, this Pal can be found both during the daytime and nighttime, so players can set out to track down this Pal without any time restrictions.

Smokie Work Suitability & Partner Skill, Explained

Smokie’s Partner Skill is called Dig, Dog! Dig!, which can be used to assist players in tracking down Chromite, as explained below:

Dig, Dog! Dig: When activated, uses its sharp sense of smell to detect nearby Chromite. While fighting together, a large amount of Chromite is obtained.

Players will need to craft Smokie’s Harness to use Dig, Dog! Dig.

Unfortunately, Smokie isn’t very suitable for many tasks when it comes to base work, so players are better off utilizing it for the unique Dig, Dog! Dig! ability in situational moments. However, Smokie is capable of performing Gathering Tasks at Level 2, to gather crops around your base.
