Urban Heat is a multiplayer first-person shooter title from OneUp Games. The game is now available for early access in select regions. It is set in a gang-controlled urban environment, players engage in 3v3 and 5v5 PvP deathmatch battles across various locales. Each weapon possesses different features and varies in damage and range. To get an upper hand in fights, you will have to choose the ideal weapon that suits your gameplay and synchronizes well with your selected in-game character. In this Urban Heat Weapon Tier List, we are going to sort out the best-to-average weapons available in the game. As you start the game, this guide will help you make the right decision.
Urban Heat Weapon Tier List: Best Weapons Ranked
The arsenal in Urban Heat is very large. You can select your favorite weapon from a variety of firearm types. These classes include Assault Rifles (AR), Sub Machine Guns (SMG), Sniper Rifles (SR), Shotgun (SG), and Handguns. Each weapon has its pros and cons. Many in-game characters also come with their own pre-set weapon loadout.
You can customize your loadouts with over 50 modules and attachments, allowing for more than 500 unique configurations. Now, the weapons in Urban Heat are divided into three different groups. The groups are S, A, and B. After playing the game thoroughly and spending much time in-game researching the weapons, I came up with the exclusive tier list mentioned below.
One thing should be noted currently, we do not have the complete arsenal as it often changes with updates. Since the game is in the open beta phase, so sometimes new weapons are added, and sometimes older ones are adjusted or removed for balance changes. Now, take a look at the list given below:
Tier | Assault Rifle | SMG | Shotgun | LMG | Sniper Rifle | Handgun |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Strong (S) | IAR556, KAR.30RS | BT19, OAN54 | FS12 | KMG54r | Walker ESR, AI – BMG | PB-m9 |
Good (A) | Object – H | IM-9 | WL mod. 11 | – | Walker | 1911 |
Average (B) | St. A4 | Izu9 | – | – | – | – |
Best Weapons in Urban Heat
Selecting the right weapon in Urban Heat is very important as it directly impacts your gameplay and the performance of your in-game character. For your attacker class characters, you need to select weapons with high damage. On the other hand, if you are using a tank-type character, then you should pick a weapon with higher damage per second (DPS). You can easily choose from the Urban Heat Weapon Tier List above.
Just like the in-game characters, it is not possible to select all the weapons from the very beginning of the game. You will have to make progress in your gang to unlock other better weapons. You can do it by playing the game. Now we will shed some light on the best weapons from each class.
Best Assault Rifle – IAR556
IAR556 is arguably the best and one of the most balanced assault rifles in Urban Heat. The low damage output of this weapon gets compensated by the massive Damage Per Second (DPS) of 337. The brilliant mobility of 51.25 and the distance of 49.53 makes it a proper all-round weapon. The hip-fire of IAR556 is comparatively low than other ARs.
Best Sub Machine Gun – BT19
Statistically, the BT19 may look weak. But do not let it deceive you as the gameplay of this SMG is quite phenomenal. The higher mobility, hipfire, and distance coverage make it a go-to weapon for all the medium and light archetype characters. The BT19 SMG unlocks on the Gang Progression 3 stage.
Best Shotgun – FS12
Currently, in Urban Heat, there are only two Shotguns available. Out of those two, the FS12 made it to the top of the Urban Heat Weapon Tier List. Shotguns are known for extreme close-quarter combats. Other stats like Mobility, ADS, and Distance barely matter. This is the only reason it beat the WL mod. Despite having statistical disadvantages in other sections. The massive DPS of 660 makes it the best Shotgun in Urban Heat.
Best Light Machine Gun – KMG54r
Currently, KMG54r is the only available Light Machine Gun (LMG) in Urban Heat. The massive damage of 33 and DPS of 337 make it a great weapon to suppress fire. The distance coverage of this weapon is 48.95, which helps the tank-type characters to excel with this weapon as they lack mobility.
Best Sniper Rifle – Walker ESR
Out of all sniper rifles in Urban Heat, the Walker ESR emerges victorious without any hassle due to its all-around performance. The massive damage output of 175 and ADS of 67.76 makes it a one-shot, one-kill weapon. Also, the various customization options on this sniper rifle allow its users to control this weapon more easily.
Best Handgun – PB m9
Realistically, you will only use a handgun when your primary weapon runs out of ammunition or you are stuck in reload in the middle of a fight. The PB-m9 will make your job easier thanks to its phenomenal hip fire accuracy of 71.84 and mobility of 62.75. It also has a high DPS of 305, which makes it a perfect handgun for your character.
Final Thoughts
As per Urban Heat, the official number of available weapons in the game is over 30. However, we do not have access to all the weapons since the game is currently in the beta phase. Once it updates its arsenal with new weapons, we will update this article, so keep an eye on it.
Despite the unavailability of all weapons, the available ones are quite enough for starting the game and winning matches. If you combine your character with suitable weapons, you will start seeing its effectiveness in no time. Always remember to utilize all the usable attachments and modules for the betterment of your weapon.
