- The rumor suggests unique TMNT abilities in a potential game mode for Black Ops 6.
Dataminers suggest that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover will come to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 soon. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a popular IP since the 1980s, and they may be set to join the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 roster.
Since the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Activision has helped reinvent what a multiplayer FPS looks and plays like. Over multiple Call of Duty installments, new game modes, challenges, maps, characters, guns, and cosmetics have been released. Among the unique cosmetics are Operator Skins, Emblems, Weapon Blueprints, Charms, and more. These are typically available in the seasonal Battle Passes but are also introduced regularly to the in-game shop. Although some gamers are critical of Black Ops 6‘s cosmetic offerings, their tune may change with the addition of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Terminator Event Rewards Have Been Leaked
A Call of Duty data miner reveals all of the in-game rewards that can be earned in the upcoming Terminator event for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Charlie Intel has boosted a rumor from dataminers Realityuk_ and HeyImAlaix that suggests the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The rumor began on January 28 when HeyImAlaix stated they could “confirm” that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration that includes an exclusive event and game mode is on the way. Realityuk_ then retweeted the statement with their own confirmation and added context regarding the game mode. According to Realityuk_, the game mode will share similarities with another upcoming event revolving around characters from The Boys and their special powers. This may suggest that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans can use abilities unique to the Nickelodeon heroes in the datamined game mode.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles May Be Joining the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Roster
This is not the first time the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property has joined a Call of Duty game, as Modern Warfare 2 (2022) featured Shredder as a playable character. Despite Shredder appearing in this earlier installment, the turtles have never debuted in a Call of Duty game. Outside this potential drop, the heroes in a half-shell have also appeared in Fortnite, Smite, and Street Fighter 6. Given the Squid Game crossover applied all the guard skins to one Operator, Black Ops 6 may avoid controversy by applying the turtles to operators of both factions.
Despite the datamining efforts regarding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Black Ops 6, it should still be regarded as a rumor. Because it’s a rumor, fans should take the announcement with a grain of salt until Call of Duty confirms it. Given that Activision continues to update Black Ops 6, more crossovers will likely make their way to the game.
