Simon Says is a classic game played by kids for generations, and it also features in one of the most iconic COD Zombies easter eggs of all time with the Black Ops map, Moon. It seems the fun game has returned in Black Ops 6, where players can head into the Zombies map of The Tomb to play a quick round of Simon Says.

Here’s a walkthrough of Black Ops 6’s The Tomb Zombies’ main easter egg for those who want help in completing it themselves.

The reward may seem minor, but considering Brain Rot is an Ammo Mod perfect for dealing with Shock Mimics, and that this is something that can easily be obtained before Round 8 (when Shock Mimics spawn), this is something worth grabbing to save some Salvage and enjoy a quick brainteaser.

How to Find and Complete the Simon Says Easter Egg in The Tomb

the fallen statue in the tomb

In order to find the Simon Says easter egg in The Tomb, players must venture into the Tombs area of the map, which is located to the left of the spawn area (Dig Site). Through the Tombs, look to the South wall, where a bunch of identical statues will be placed in groups of five, starting from the top layer and ending at the ground floor.

To activate the Simon Says easter egg, players must first use any gun (Pack-a-Punch or an Ammo Mod not required) to shoot the head of the fallen statue on the left area of the South wall. Doing so will immediately spawn a wisp that will teleport to the heads of different statues on the South wall, with an audio cue. Players will need to memorize the identical pattern of these 9 statues and proceed to shoot the heads of them in the order that was initially shown. Players will know if they have shot the correct statue as the wisp will remain on each completed statue.

If players mess up the step by shooting the wrong head, then they will just need to shoot at the fallen statue’s head again to reset it, but the order will remain the same.

After shooting all 9 statue heads in the correct order, a purple light will emerge from the ground at the South wall, and the Brain Rot Ammo Mod will spit out for players to collect, which just so happens to be the weakness of Shock Mimics.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
