If there is one match, every VALORANT Esports fan can’t wait to watch is the game between LOUD and Sentinels. Two of the most decorated teams in VALORANT esports face off once again from each other. This time, it’s for a chance to get one step closer to being named the champions of the VCT Americas Kickoff 2025. Who will come out on top? Let us find out!
Loud vs Sentinels – VCT Americas Kickoff 2025 Preview
If there is one team known for its incredible legacy within the VALORANT Champions Tour, it is LOUD. The Brazilian organization has been home to some of the best teams within VALORANT. In 2022, it became the first American organization to win VALORANT Champions.
Since then, the team has been on a confusing journey. During the 2023 season, they finished second at the VCT LOCK//IN in their home country of Brazil but went on to win the VCT Americas 2023 League. Sadly, they couldn’t maintain this form during VCT Masters Tokyo and VALORANT Champions 2023. They finished in 7th and 3rd place, respectively, in those events.
The 2024 season is one that they would like to forget, as this was the first season where they won no trophies. The best they could finish was in 2nd place during VCT Americas Kickoff 2024. This year, they have fielded a new roster of only Brazilian players. Having won both their games with a series scoreline of 2-0.
Sentinels, on the other hand, are the only team in VALORANT Esports history to have won 2 VALORANT Master events. The most recent one was in the 2024 season, where they defeated Gen G to secure the trophy. Sadly, during VALORANT Champions 2024, the best they could finish was 4th.
Due to Sentinels qualifying for the tournament, they received a bye to the second round of VCT Americas Kickoff 2025. They didn’t start the tournament as best as possible, losing their first map against 100 Thieves with a scoreline of 13-4. Sentinels didn’t give up without a fight and completed the reverse sweep, winning the series 2-1.
Series Breakdown
If there is one team to beat during this tournament, it is LOUD. With the return of pANcada to their roster, they have looked incredible. Their new duelist, dgzin, has lit the tournament on fire. He had a positive kill-death ratio of +11 in both matches he has played.
While Sentinels’s johnqt has proved to be a demon on Tejo in their previous game, they would require the rest of the team to tie their laces. We believe LOUD will win this exciting match with a scoreline of 2-1.
