The Cutter’s End contract is one of the Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector contracts that will only become available once you reached a certain point in the game – in this instancing, having unlocked the HazNav ship upgrade. The mission itself doesn’t have any failure condtions, but it is lined with a number of Danger-level objectives, and it is possible to miss certain bonus rewards.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the only game of the genre out there. In fact, there are many cyberpunk games that are awesome…
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to help him harass his fully-grown sister. But we do suggest you accept this mission, as it will lead to you acquiring a new party member.
Obtaining The Cutter’s End Contract
After you have acquired the HazNav upgrade from the Wellspring Space Station, returning to Flotsam Station, you’ll run into Femi (who’s more than a little nettled). He’ll tell you that Nia has run off with a crew and that it’s you responsibility to help him got get her. There will now be a clock counting down in the form of “Femi’s Patience”. You have four cycles to act.
You can check Femi’s Patience at any time by clicking on his space ship (The Cutter) in the dock. If you don’t begin the contract in time, Femi will go without you, and that will be the last you ever hear of Nia or Femi.
Once you are good to go, select the Cutter’s End contract from the navigation screen and ship out. Femi is a mandatory crew member for this contract. For the second crew member, I recommend going with Bliss. There are a bunch of Engineer Checks, there aren’t as many Interface checks (so Juni isn’t a great choice).
The Borehole And Central Shaft
Once you’ve started the mission, you’ll have two locations you can investigate: the Borehole and the Central Shaft. No matter which of the two you choose, you’ll end up in the Tunnel Complex. I tried both pathes and the result seemed identical, so just proceed along the one that is the easiest for your crew to clear.

The Machine Room And Tailing Pit
Once you work your way through the Tunnel Complex, you’ll be left with two options. You can break into the Machine room, which is where Nia is, or you can salvage parts from the machine you just destroyed with the Tailing Pit option. Searching the pit will yield two engine components and a Rare Component. You should absolutely do that before you grab Nia, as the Tailing Pit option will disappear once you clear the Machine Room objective.

You’ll now get one Upgrade Point for completing the minor drive. Once you get back to the Flotsam space station, you will be given the option to either recruit Femi or Nia. I’d say Nia is the better crew mate, as she has enhanced Intuit, but pairing Femi with Yu-Jin will help you power through Engage and Endure checks.
