The latest Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, has no shortage of secrets to uncover with an example being the special Gold Armor Vest. So, here’s how you can get it.

Just like Citadelle des Morts and Liberty Falls, The Tomb features a main story Easter egg that requires you to complete elaborate puzzles and clear out hordes of zombies along the way. Near the end, you’ll face off against the Sentinel Artifact in a challenging boss fight that only becomes more difficult if you don’t have the best equipment.

One piece of gear that is highly recommended is the Gold Armor, which is essentially a Tier 4 armor set. If you’re wondering where to find it, here’s how to get Gold Armor Vest in The Tomb.

BO6 Zombies Gold Armor and Blood Rituals guide

1. Intiate Blood Rituals

To start the Blood Rituals, you’ll need to melee two wooden crates near the Pack-A-Punch machine in the Dark Aether Nexus. Here are their exact locations:

  • In the far South-West corner of the area, near the green-colored Ossuary Portal
  • Directly opposite the Jugger-Nog when facing East

Approach the crates and melee them a few times to reveal statue heads. Now, use the interact button to pick up both heads and go back to the Dig Site in the spawn area. Once you’re there, look for two headless statues sitting on top of platforms. Interact with both of them to place the heads you collected earlier.

Here are the exact locations of both statues:

  • The far South-West corner of the Dig Site, near the PhD Flopper perk
  • The East side of the Dig Site in the Mausoleum area, opposite the Dark Aether Nexus portal

2. Complete the Blood Rituals

After placing both heads, you’ll see prompts underneath each statue to trigger a Blood Sacrifice event. Here’s what you can expect in both events:

  • The first statue will spawn three elite variants of the Mimic. These are very tough to kill and have a high health pool.
  • The second statue spawns three elite variants of the Doppelghasts, again with extremely large health pools.

These aren’t the only obstacles you’ll face as a red mist will lock you in the spawn area while also reducing visibility. Your health will drop down to just 1HP and it won’t recover until the Blood Sacrifice finishes. The enemies are ferocious as well with hefty health bars that won’t be easy to deplete.

Needless to say, you’ll need high-tier equipment to complete the Blood Rituals like Pack-A-Punch tier 3 and Purple rarity weapons. We also recommend purchasing the Chopper Gunner Killstreak and triggering it right after starting the event. This will allow you to take out zombies from the sky until the Killstreak expires. During this window, focus your fire on the elites as they are the main targets.

3. Collect the Gold Armor

Once both rituals are completed, you’ll be able to spot gold beams of light leading to the two bull statues at the top of the Mausoleum area. Follow the light and then look at the wall on the right. Here, you’ll be able to grab the Gold Armor Vest for free as a wall buy.

Following these steps will earn you the best armor set in Zombies, and it will certainly make the final boss fight a bit easier.
