How to Escape the Red Gas Prison Chamber in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4

After surviving multiple ambushes by the Nightmare Critters, players will enter the red-colored prison area in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. Inside, you’ll hear from the Doctor initiating a toxic red gas trap to stop you in your tracks. Here’s how you can survive the trap and proceed to the control room.

1. As soon as the red gas starts pouring into the room, go to the left walkway and look for some broken pipes marked with yellow tape. Pulling the pipes will break them free, allowing you to jump to the lower floor.
2. Run to the back of the room to spot a doorway blocked by boards. Remove the boards to head to the other section of the red prison.
3. Head inside the room in the middle to grab a yellow valve from the workbench.
4. Return to the prison area, head through the doorway to the left, and squeeze through the gap.
5. Use the Grabpack to move the box away from the hole, allowing you to return to the other part of the red prison.
6. Insert the valve on the pipe releasing the gas and turn it off, which will allow you to use the scanner and head upstairs.

How to Solve the Calendar Puzzle to Get the Prison Terminal Code

After arriving upstairs, you’ll spot another prison terminal with a different calendar puzzle that you’ll need to solve to get the code in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. After inspecting the calendar, you’ll notice that this puzzle isn’t so different from the last one.

All you need to do is take the word “CAGE” written on a sticky note and check the numbers corresponding with the letters in the correct sequence. The code for the terminal in the red-colored prison will come out to be “3642.” Use the code on the terminal and press the red button to progress to the next area.
