Once you hit the Far Spindle in Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, you’ll encounter Yu-Jin in the local watering hole. After talking to him, he’ll lead you directly to the Hidden Wreck contract. If you want to complete this contract, you’ll need to locate the cargo before the timer runs down.

Transponder Signal
As soon as you start this mission, you’ll see there is a “transponder signal”. The ship attached to this mysterious signal will arrive in two days. Don’t be alarmed, but that is a timer of sorts. Once those first two cycles pass, Vesna will arrive. After she’s shipped out, a three-cycle timer will take its place. However, Vesna will arrive at the beginning of the third cycle, so that means you’ll only have two cycles to locate the treasure after the first confrontation with her – so, four cycles in total.
The Crushed Shuttle And Scattered Wrecks
When you first arrive at the site, you’ll find that there are three locations: the Crushed Shuttle, Scattered Wrecks, and the Pitted Asteroid. However, since we are on a timer, we’re going to focus on the Crushed Shuttle and Scattered Wrecks, which is where the primary goal is located.
After you have cleared the Scattered Wrecks, you won’t be able to progress until you have the cipher. You’ll acquire the cipher by completing the Crushed Shuttle and Shuttle Interior. This will allow you to clear up the Wrecked Cargo Bay.
It doesn’t matter what order you complete the sections of the Shuttle and Scattered Wrecks. You can hop between the two sites as much as you like, though you will eventually need that cipher.
You should have both Yu-Jin and Bless on your team, which should make this all relatively easy to push through, as Bless’ Engineer skill will be able to help greatly with the Crushed Shuttle and Wrecked Cargo Bay, while Yu-Jin’s Endure affinity will help with the Scattered Wrecks and Wrecked Cargo Bay.

The Reward Awaiting For You In The Wrecked Cargo Bay
Once you complete the Wrecked Cargo Bay objective (Unsealing Secrets) you’ll discover that this was all for naught. What Yu-Jin is searching for is nowhere to be found. However, you will still get three Rare Components. So there’s that, at least.
Pitted Asteroid
The Pitted Asteroid is, essentially, a bonus objective. Once you have cleared the Wrecked Cargo Bay, you should move on to clearing this Pitted Asteroid, as you can acquire Scrap Metal from here. The more scrap you can scrounge the better. Those components are a solid reward, but they don’t put food on the table.

What Happens If I Don’t Open The Wrecked Cargo Bay Before Vesna Arrives?
If Vesna arrives before you have made it into the Wrecked Cargo Bay, then she’ll find what you found: the ship you are looking for is not here. However, she will also take those Rare Components, so, it isn’t ideal if she beats you to the punch.
If Vesna arrives before you work your way into the cargo bay, you will still be able to recruit Yu-Jin.
