eFootball 2025 has arrived with the eFootball x Captain Tsubasa Campaign Vol 2, a month after the original vol. 1 that arrived with the 4.2.0 update. The hit franchise Captain Tsubasa is coming with some more special or you can even say similar events while getting us limited-time events while also rewarding us some special Epic cards and themed players. I’ll share everything that you will be getting with this campaign in this space.
The latest volume of the Captain Tsubasa collaboration brings more characters from the iconic football manga into eFootball. While the first campaign focused on characters from the Elementary School, Middle School, and Junior Youth Arcs, this time you’ll get to control fan-favorite characters from the World Youth Arc. These characters can be used in special Time Attack Events and the Daily Game, which are exclusive to this collaboration campaign.
Neymar Jr. x Carlos Santana Collaboration Card
If you log in during the campaign period, you can get a special Neymar Jr. card featuring a unique design inspired by Carlos Santana. This card will be available until February 20, 2025, and you’ll be able to keep it in your inbox until February 27, 2025. If you missed the Lionel Messi x Tsubasa Ozora card from the first campaign, you can still grab it before February 20, 2025.
Campaign Objectives and Rewards
There are multiple campaign objectives you can complete by participating in eligible events and the eFootball League. New challenges will be added throughout the campaign, and completing them will unlock a variety of rewards, such as Selection Contracts, Captain Tsubasa-themed avatars, strips, badges, and in-game currency.
To put it together, you can earn 3x Skill Tokens, 3x Random boosters, 8x Position Boosters, 200 eFootball Coins, 458,000 experience points and 600,000 GP.
Throughout the campaign, you’ll earn three times the usual amount of Experience Points in all Dream Team events and PvP League matches so if you have untrained players, this is an awesome chance. Just note that My League and some events won’t be eligible for this bonus.
Special Players with Captain Tsubasa-Themed Cards
By logging in during the event, you’ll earn Selection Contracts that let you choose from 11 players paired with Captain Tsubasa characters. These contracts are available in three rounds during the campaign, with a total of six new players to claim. Key players include Raphinha, Pulisic, Fermin Lopez, and Theo Hernandez to name a few. The card design is one of the best I’ve seen and players have decent stats, so I’m suggesting you do not miss out on these.
Coming to the Epic cards, we have three of them. But unlike last time when we had Rummenigge, Matthaus, and Kahn, here, all three are strikers. This lineup includes Michel Platini, Eric Cantona, and Diego Forlan, each featuring a unique Captain Tsubasa-inspired card design. Platini and Cantona have Phenomenal Pass and Phenomenal Finishing Show Time skills respectively. It will be running for twenty days.
Campaign Events and Other Updates
You’ll also be able to directly control Captain Tsubasa characters in the Beat the Clock feat. SGGK event. Complete all challenges to unlock an extra round of the event, where your goal times will be ranked. Golden Goal Special Challenge has arrived as well. As usual, we have Tour and Dream Team challenges.
I’ve also noticed both the POTW and European packs, and I must say these are currently the best packs in recent times. I recommend not to skip them.
