EA FC 25: 15 Tallest Players, Ranked

EA FC 25: 15 Tallest Players, Ranked

Summary

  • Pairing tall players with faster ones improves team balance and effectiveness.
  • Tall strikers are still dangerous in aerial situations despite changes since FIFA 22.
  • Best tall players like Peter Crouch can excel in both aerial and ground attacks.

It’s always good to have a tall player in the team whether in the defense or the offense to have a higher chance of winning aerial battles and even score with headers. That being said, tall players in EA Sports FC 25 usually come with a pretty slow pace, which makes using them lonely in the offense a big gamble. This slow pace also prevents them from intercepting faster opponent strikers in time.

Faster players could help a lot with succeeding in counter-attacks.

The best way to benefit from tall players is to pair them with a faster player, whether it’s the heart of defense or the edge of attack. This will allow players to still have the upper hand against speedy attackers or defenders of the opposing team.

Updated on January 28, 2025, by Mehrdad Khayyat: The good thing about EA FC 25 is that players have full freedom over their playstyle, and if they execute their plans with the right squad, the result will likely be in favor of them. However, it’s not easy to reach that dream squad earlier in the game.

Although scoring with headers has become more difficult since FIFA 22, tall strikers are still a big threat to every goalkeeper, as every cross could be a serious scoring chance for them. On the other hand, the same tactic can be used with tall defenders to lower the risk of such attacks.

Goalkeepers have been excluded from this list. Most of the top 20 tallest players in EA Sports FC 25 are goalkeepers, but that is not an interesting position to factor in height, as most goalkeepers are tall enough.

15

Conor Keely

Height: 6’7″ (200cm)

  • Position: CB
  • Nationality: Ireland
  • Overall: 59

Conor Keely is probably one of the defenders that a player may receive with their starter pack or Bronze Pack rewards. The player doesn’t really have any significant strength aside from his tall height, which grants him a decent Physical score.

The worst thing about Keely is that he doesn’t really benefit from his height, as both Heading Accuracy and Jumping stats are mediocre. The player can still be considered for an early-game squad, but there are surely much better replacements down the line.

14

Sasa Kalajdžić

Height: 6’7″ (200cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Austria
  • Overall: 77

Kalajdžić is one of those promising strikers that every growing team could have benefited from at some point. While the stats are not good enough for a late-game squad, Kalajdžić is one of the rare players who actually knows how to use his height.

The player comes with an impressive Heading Accuracy of 87, which makes him quite dangerous in the offensive third if he is fed with accurate crosses. Similar to most tall players, Kalajdžić has an awful rating for pace, which is why it is recommended to use him in a dual-striker formation.

13

Leonardo Miramar Rocha

Height: 6’7″ (200cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Portugal
  • Overall: 66

The Portuguese striker comes with completely mediocre stats in every important aspect for a striker. Although Rocha has top-notch stats for Jumping and Strength, the Heading Accuracy is just decent. It’s not a bad deal for the beginners in Ultimate Team, but he probably won’t age well at the offensive third after some time.

With a Finishing of 66, Rocha is not a reliable option in the opponent’s penalty area. Regarding the weak Passing stats, Rocha will probably fail in any attacking role other than being the Target Man. But the problem is, he is not fast enough either to run behind the opposing defensive line.

12

Peter Crouch

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: England
  • Overall: 85

Appearing as a Hero in EA FC 25, Peter Crouch is by far the best player on the list, coming with great attacking stats, which is all that matters for a striker. Peter Crouch has a Heading Accuracy of 94, which means he is more dangerous in aerial attacks than ground ones.

That being said, Crouch is also phenomenal at leading a ground attack. Although the pace is just decent, a Finishing of 89 proves that he barely misses scoring chances in 1v1 situations. He is also a solid option for taking long shots.

11

Lorenzo Lucca

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Italy
  • Overall: 72

Despite being a silver player, Lucca Lorenzo is not a bad option for the offensive third. The player is slow in Pace and might not be able to shine at taking long shots, but he has impressive stats for Shot Power (85), Strength (91), and Ball Control (71).

Lorenzo is one of those players who may not excel at carrying the ball for a long time, but he can be quite beneficial as a target striker. He is a player who knows what to do with the ball in a scoring situation, and he is also tall enough to shine at aerial balls.

10

Aleksander Vukotic

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: CB
  • Nationality: Serbia
  • Overall: 70

The 30-year-old Serbian defender playing for Darmstadt might not be young enough to invest in a significant amount of money in career mode, but he could be an ideal pick for anyone managing a low-budget team to raise the average height of the team.

Thanks to his tall height, Vukotic has a physical rating of 82, which is incredible for a player with an overall rating of 70. He has a jumping rating of 74 and a heading accuracy of 77, but the most eye-catching stat is Strength of 95. This exceptional stat will help Vukotic take possession of the ball more easily and lose it much harder.

9

Paul Ebere Onuachu

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Nigeria
  • Overall: 76

Players who value a good overall rating over height should probably sign Onuachu as the best available option. On the entirety of this list, Onuachu has the highest overall rating and comes with the best shooting skills compared to all the other strikers listed.

EA FC 25 features some of the most realistic player models yet, with the following players standing out for looking particularly true to life.

The Nigerian striker is excellent at winning aerial battles, thanks to his Heading Accuracy of 87 and Jumping rating of 82. This makes Onuachu a solid Target Forward to stay in front and wait for the crosses coming from the wide side of the pitch. He could also be quite dangerous for any opponent in corners and free-kicks.

8

Marcus Dackers

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Wales
  • Overall: 56

The weakest player on the list, and one that Ultimate Managers will probably never consider unless for complete Squad Building Challenges. Even for a Career mode adventure with a low-budget team from the bottom tiers of European leagues, Dackers will not be an ideal option.

Despite being pretty tall, Dackers can’t use his height efficiently, as he has a Jumping of 73 and a Heading Accuracy of 58, both of which are quite disappointing. That being said, the players will priced quite low in both the Ultimate Team and Career transfer markets. So, at the very least, interested players could give Dackers a chance at almost no cost.

7

Jamie Lawrence

Height: 6’7″ (201cm)

  • Position: CB
  • Nationality: Germany
  • Overall: 66

The German center-back might not have interesting statistics, but at least he can use his height to a certain degree. A Jumping of 72 and Heading Accuracy of 70 makes Lawrence a modest choice in the defensive line for players that cannot spend too much for this position, but still need a tall defender.

15 Best Players For A Starter Team In EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, Ranked

As players build towards the best squad in EA Sports FC 25 Ultimate Team, a strong starting team is needed. Here’s which players to pick.

Lawrence and Vukotic are the same height, but the German defender is only 22 years old, which means Career mode players can get a solid center-back out of Lawrence if they put enough effort into training him and boosting his stats over the course of multiple seasons.

6

Skelly Alvero

Height: 6’8″ (202cm)

  • Position: CDM
  • Nationality: France
  • Overall: 69

Joined Werder Bremen this season, Alvero is a young defensive midfielder with a bright future ahead, that also comes with promising stats that can be improved significantly over time. Sidible is another defensive midfielder on this list who is slightly taller than Alvero, but Werder Bremen’s midfielder shares better stats all around.

Alvero comes with a Physical rating of 80, which is great for a CDM who is supposed to help the defense line and win the ball back before it turns into a threat over at the penalty area. Alvero is not skilled enough at heading accuracy, which is a weak spot, but yellow stats on the other skills would compensate for that weakness.

5

Jabir Abdihakim Ali

Height: 6’8″ (202cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Sweden
  • Overall: 58

Similar to Dackers, Abdihakim is also not an ideal option for most players, but unlike Dackers, Abdihakim does benefit from his height, though that’s his only strength, as other stats are quite disappointing. A Jumping of 77 and a Heading Accuracy of 70 are all that Abdihakim offers.

EA Sports FC 25: 10 Highest Rated Male Players, Ranked

These male players earned the highest ratings in FC 25 after incredible performances for their clubs and countries.

The Swedish striker is fairly slow, but he is 23 years old. This means practicing with Abdihakim in Career mode could upgrade his stats to a certain degree, but don’t expect him to be a solid striker even after the improvements, as there are more than a few weak spots to cover.

4

Anosike Ementa

Height: 6’8″ (202cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: Denmark
  • Overall: 66

Ementa is a far better option for practicing with than Abdihakim. The player is slightly younger than Abdihakim and comes with fairly better stats in all skills. Still, Ementa cannot use his height to deliver a decent Heading Accuracy, but this could get better over time.

The Danish striker is also faster than Abdihakim, which is another plus for him, though it still needs a lot of work to get his shooting stats boosted. Even if not a good fit for the team, Ementa can be improved and then sold to other clubs to earn some cash in the career mode.

3

Kalidou Sidibe

Height: 6’8″ (202cm)

  • Position: CDM
  • Nationality: France
  • Overall: 67

The tallest defensive midfielder on the best option for the position. Sidibe is better at defense when compared to Alvero, but that’s only by a tiny margin. Sidibe offers a slightly better Heading Accuracy, but for Career players that is something that can be improved quite easily in a short amount of time.

Both players are French, but the plus for Alvero is that he can also cooperate in offensive moves, and thanks to better shooting stats, he would have a higher chance of scoring. Despite being taller, Sidibe is not the better option to stand ahead of the defensive line.

2

Kyle Hudlin

Height: 6’9″ (206cm)

  • Position: ST
  • Nationality: England
  • Overall: 60

Hudlin could be a hit-or-miss pick for the offense. Despite being significantly taller than the other strikers on the list, Hudlin is not specialized in Heading Accuracy, and even his Jumping is not as good as Onuachu. Of course, Hudlin will cost far less, but he will also need more training to become a solid attacker.

The English player has an acceptable pace which is good to begin with, but the Heading Accuracy is purely disappointing for such a tall striker. He can still improve upon those stats, but Onuachu offers much better stats, though the Nigerian striker is already 31 years old.

1

Souleymane Isaak Toure

Height: 6’9″ (206cm)

  • Position: CB
  • Nationality: France
  • Overall: 72

The tallest player on the list is also the youngest one. Isaak Toure is only 21 years old and he already has an impressive overall rating that has been boosted significantly by the French player’s Physical stats. Toure has a Physical rating of 84, the highest on this list, which is a big plus for a center-back.

A Pace of 66 is also a good point to begin upgrading. Sure, it is low, but it’s best to begin with 66 rather than below 60. The Heading Accuracy of 66 sure needs more practicing to get boosted but Toure is young enough to be worth multiple seasons of practicing and training in the Career mode.
