What is the best PPSh-41 loadout in Black Ops 6? It’s time to dust off that arsenal of weapons, we’ve got a brand new SMG for you to try out. Season 2 has introduced plenty of welcome changes to the game, but we’re most interested in the PPSh-41, a World War II SMG that can tear through enemies with its lightning fast fire rate.

The stock version of this classic SMG is far too heavy for our liking, and it also could use a lot of work in the recoil department. Fortunately, our Black Ops 6 PPSh-41 loadout addresses these problems in the FPS game, making it one of the best Black Ops 6 weapons around.

How to unlock the PPSh-41 in Black Ops 6

The PPSh-41 is the HVT item on page six of the Black Ops 6 battle pass. To unlock the PPSh-41 you must claim all the items on page six using your battle pass tokens. If you purchase the Blackcell version of the battle pass, you’re able to choose which page you want to unlock items from right away, giving you access to the PPSh-41 immediately.

Alternatively, you can purchase the ‘Strange Abyss’ bundle, which includes the Reef Hunter variant of the PPSh-41 for 2,800 COD Points.

Best Black Ops 6 PPSh-41 loadout

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Stock: Light Stock
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II

First up is the Compensator muzzle, an essential attachment for the PPSh-41 as it keeps your shots stable by reducing the vertical recoil. Given the amount of recoil this muzzle reduces, we just need to address the horizontal recoil before focusing on other problematic areas.

The Long Barrel isn’t the most flashy attachment, but it increases the weapon’s damage range which makes it possible to land kills from further away. Like all SMGs, the PPSh-41 is going to struggle when fighting from medium range distances. Equip the Long Barrel to give yourself a fighting chance against AR-wielding enemies on larger maps.

Fix the PPSh-41’s recoil problems once and for all with the Ranger Foregrip underbarrel, strengthening the horizontal recoil control while also providing a small buff to the weapon’s sprinting movement speed. To further strengthen the gun’s mobility, we’ve gone with the Light Stock to greatly improve its hip fire movement speed, strafing speed, and overall movement speed. This stock is the key to bringing the SMG’s mobility right up there with some of the best in its class.

To wrap this loadout up, pick the Extended Mag II to greatly enhance the number of bullets in each clip, up to 55 per magazine. Don’t forget that the fire rate on this weapon is extremely fast, so you’re going to need the extra bullets as they won’t last long when you start blasting away at enemies.

Best Black Ops 6 PPSh-41 class build

  • Secondary weapon: XM4
  • Melee: Knife
  • Tactical: Stim Shot
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Field Upgrade: Assault Pack
  • Perk 1: Dexterity
  • Perk 2: Assassin
  • Perk 3: Slipstream
  • Specialty: Enforcer
  • Wildcard: Overkill

You can’t go wrong with Overkill to give yourself two powerful primary weapon options during combat. While you could opt for something more long-range like a sniper rifle, we’ve picked the XM4. When paired alongside the PPSh-41, our XM4 loadout excels at long range where its damage range can help pick off enemies in clutch moments. Our loadout is largely aggressive, so the Semtex and Stim Shot are obvious choices here, perfect for players that like to take the lead. Likewise, the Assault Pack makes the most sense with this build as it keeps everyone stocked up with ammo and grenades.

Speaking of aggression, our perks skew in that direction with the trio of Dexterity, Assassin, and Slipstream to let everyone know that we are the source of danger on the battlefield. Dexterity reduces the weapon motion while jumping, sliding, and diving, actions we’ll often be performing with our PPSh-41. Assassin provides us with bonuses for killing the strongest players on the opposing team through the Bounty Pack system. Lastly, Slipstream is new in Season 2, and it’s already proving to be powerful as it increases your overall sprint speed at the cost of removing Tac Sprint. Pair all of this with the health regenerate and movement speed benefits of the Enforcer specialty to become truly unstoppable.

Best PPSh-41 alternatives

The biggest selling point of the PPSh-41 is its sheer firepower when battling at close to medium range, but if you want something with high mobility stats, the KSV loadout should be the perfect choice. The KSV is the epitome of close range SMG options, equipping you with a lightweight monster that can shred through enemies.
