In Palworld, there are continuous expansions and updates being made to the game throughout the open beta, with significant milestones such as the Sakurajima update, followed by the more recent Feybreak update. Feybreak brought many new features and additional unlocks to the game, such as a huge island full of new pals to uncover and obtain, new Skills, new gear, and items, and even new mechanics and NPCs to locate and interact with.
Among the various new NPCs that have made their way into Palworld, Dr. Brawn is perhaps the most significant Feybreak addition. This is due to his unique skill, which enables you to randomly change the Skills and IVs of a Pal of your choice once per day – creating the chance to receive a lineup that is significantly better, or perhaps much worse. Who is Dr. Brawn & Where to Find Him in Palworld
In Palworld, Dr. Brawn is an NPC who has the ability to randomize the IVs and Passive Skills of one of your Pals once per day. This means that through this randomization, your Pal can gain Skills that it did not previously have any access to – even special Rainbow tier Passives, such as the new Demon God Skill, which was also added in the Feybreak expansion.
However, finding Dr. Brawn can be extremely tricky, as he is merely an NPC who has a chance of spawning on various incident spots across each island on the world map, much like Black Market Sellers and Wandering Traders. As the chance of him appearing is not guaranteed, the best way players can find him is by trying to visit as many incident spawn points during an in-game day as possible. One of the easiest ways to achieve this massive task is to search the internet for a database of all map incident spawn points, and then cross-reference these areas by marking them on your own in-game map. This way, you will be able to find each point much easier as you work your way across the map – especially if you have the likes of a Jetragon to help you zip around.
If you do manage to finally locate Dr. Brawn, the best method is not to interact with him one time. This is because he can only use his ability once per day, meaning that if you find him, use it, and leave, you will have to spend all that time trying to seek him out again each time you want to use his ability. Instead, players should come prepared with the intent to capture Dr. Brawn, as much like other NPCs and Syndicate Thugs, he can be captured and then kept at your Base. After capturing and placing him at your Base, he will be restricted to that area, meaning you can simply interact with him every day to re-roll the Passive Skills and IVs until you get your desired results.
