This doesn’t mean it is a flat 50, however, as there will always be updates and future patches that players will have to take into account. As this is a competitive title, there will constantly be updates as the meta evolves over the year, so be aware that you’re going to need more than the 50 GB needed to just get through the door.

Although Overwatch 2 can be played on lower-end machines according to it’s size and requirements, the processor is more valuable than the graphics card for a game like this. While it is suggested to download Overwatch 2 onto your hard drive, if you have an SSD we advise loading the game onto that storage device instead. Overwatch 2 file size will not take up that much space, like Call of Duty size for example, and installing it on SSD will substantially decrease the loading times you will experience when playing.
One final detail to note is that you need to have linked your phone number to your Battle.net account before you can play Overwatch 2. This is part of their anti-cheating measures to prevent players from gaining multiple accounts.
