In a recent post on Reddit, Japanese_inspired shared a new piece of fan-made Marvel Rivals concept art showcasing the villain Taskmaster in the hero shooter’s distinct style by redunitink, melvinchanart, and jackson_caspersz. In the image, the character dons a large white cloak with dark blue and orange armor underneath, staying true to the villain’s classic comic book colors. Taskmaster holds a sword in his right hand, with a small circular shield strapped to his left forearm.

Some gamers suggested that Taskmaster should have the power to steal abilities from other characters on the battlefield, similar to Loki in Marvel Rivals. A large portion of gamers seemed to prefer the Vanguard role, stating that his sword and shield made him seem like a natural tank.
