Demeo developer Resolution Games has teamed up with Wizards of the Coast to announce Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, a game which combines the turn-based battle system of Demeo with the lore, monsters, and world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Announced via a new trailer uploaded to the Resolution Games YouTube channel earlier today, the game will see you and your friends engage in Dungeons & Dragons-flavored battles on a virtual tabletop, all without the need for a DM. It’s very much a game focused on the tactical strategy involved in Dungeons & Dragons fights, as you’ll need to work together to defeat your foes.

Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked Will Also Get DLC

In a press release sent to TheGamer, Resolution Games founder and CEO Tommy Palm explained that Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked came about after the first game managed to build a strong relationship with D&D fans. He also explains that the game will “adapt the classes, actions, and lore of Dungeons & Dragons” into the Demeo system, and that the game is built from the ground up with D&D in mind.

Further details were also shared, including the reveal that Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked will be released on all systems, including consoles, PC, and even XR devices. It also sounds like Resolution Games has plenty of plans for long-term support too, as while the game will launch with two story-based campaigns, more will be added in the future as post-launch DLC.

Unfortunately, we haven’t got a proper release date for the title just yet, but there are plenty of ways to stay updated if you’re interested.
