A new leak from a reliable data miner suggests Activision is gearing up to release one of Call of Duty‘s most expensive bundles to date during Black Ops 6 Season 2, which will cost 3,300 COD Points. Call of Duty’s unrealistic cosmetic skins and items have been a hot topic for quite a few years now, but the increasing price during Black Ops 6‘s life cycle has many fans outraged at the publisher.

Call of Duty‘s store bundles have become increasingly unrealistic in recent entries. Titles like Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops Cold War dove headfirst into the bizarre, but the topic of realism in Call of Duty has been a conversation that stems all the way back to 2014’s Advanced Warfare. However, unrealistic cosmetics seemed to have reached a peak with Black Ops 6, as many fans are outraged by the neon green dragons, unicorn fart finishing moves, and more. One thing also causing controversy among the community is the constantly increasing price of these cosmetic items, and it looks like Activision is about to take it a step further.

Black Ops 6 Leak Reveals Call of Duty’s Most Expensive Bundle Yet

In a new post by Twitter user Reality, who often leaks various store bundles and new Call of Duty features thanks to data mining in-game files, Activision is supposedly gearing up to release a new bundle that will be priced at 3,300 COD Points. The Tracer Pack: Radiant Blight Mastercraft Ultra Skin looks to be coming during Black Ops 6 Season 2 and will include a new operator skin, three weapon blueprints, a double XP token, and various other cosmetic items. While most bundles are priced between 2,400 and 2,800 COD Points (depending on the number of cosmetic items included), 3,300 COD Points will be the most expensive bundle in Call of Duty history.

For reference, Activision sells Call of Duty’s COD Points in various options, ranging from 200 COD Points for $1.99 right up to 13,000 COD Points for $99.99. Unless a player already has some Points stored away, acquiring the aforementioned bundle would require users to purchase 2,400 COD Points for $19.99 and then 1,100 COD Points for $9.99, which brings the total price to $29.98. There is also a 5,000 COD Points option available, but this works out much more expensive at $39.99.

Assuming that Activision does intend to release this bundle at the leaked price, it’s sure to cause controversy in the community. Players have already been blasting the publisher, with one user calling it “absolutely ridiculous” and another user questioning, “Does [Activision’s] greed know no bounds?” This wouldn’t be the first time that a bundle price has caused controversy, though, as Call of Duty‘s recent Squid Game collaboration sparked outrage at the cost of some of the new skins. Specifically, it was the Pink Guards Tracer Pack, which came with three skins for the same faction and was priced at 2,800 COD Points.
