Coridden could feel difficult if you focus more on melee fights and forget about all the different abilities that the game offers, but with the right build, it’s almost easy to defeat both bosses and the hostile creatures in the wilderness without getting ripped off by them. Believe it or not, ranged attacks are the meta in Coridden, and it’s important to invest enough attributes into it.
When it comes to an early-game build, however, things are a little bit different. Since the player needs to make more progress to achieve better equipment, earlier in the game, the ranged attacks will act poorly even with all the attribute investment. So, it’s best that players focus on healing and melee upgrades, and once high-level bows or projectiles are obtained, respec to a ranged-focused build.

Best Early Game Build in Coridden
Beginning with attributes, it’s suggested to spend 40% of the points on Battery, 30% on Power, 20% on Fragmentation, and 10% on Stability. There is no need to enhance Elemental ability earlier in the game, as the advantage wouldn’t be too big. Battery, on the other hand, boosts the player’s energy bar, allowing them to land more combos consecutively before needing a rest.
Power will increase physical melee damage, while Fragmentation does the same for ranged attacks. Earlier in the game, it’s better to focus on Power, but as you progress, the distribution between the two should favor Fragmentation. Later in the game, it isn’t longer worth investing in Power.
The human form of the character can host up to three classes. Devotee or Conductor are both great for the first class. The former mostly focuses on healing skills and spawning companion fighters, while the latter is all about electricity-infused skills and also features a healing ability.
If you go with Devotee, max out the Healing Zone skill first, then move on to Conjure Scaptor. Healing Zone is quite useful for fighting bosses or hordes of creatures, as it actively charges the health, allowing the player to endure incoming damage while performing melee attacks on the target.
On the other hand, if you choose Conductor as the first skill tree class, make sure to prioritize upgrading Electron Heal. This electric attack throws a shot at any nearby enemy and damages them while healing the player.

Electrified Arrows is another worthy ability on the Conductor’s tree. It’s a passive skill that adds electricity to the player’s arrows. Once you put enough upgrade points into this skill, you can start investing attributes into Elemental, which increases electricity damage. Along with Fragmentation, ramping up these attributes will significantly boost the ranged damage, especially for the human form.
When it comes to creatures, each one of them features a unique skill tree, so it’s up to you where to put the upgrades, but Ramox is one of the best creatures available, with a good running speed and incredibly powerful melee skills. If you proceed with Ramox, Flame Paws is one of the must-have skills. It infuses the melee attacks of Ramox with Heat for 10 seconds, greatly increasing the damage, especially when the ability is maxed out.
One of the best skill combos between human and creature forms is to set up Healing Zone with the human form and then switch to Ramox and toggle on the Flame Paws. This will simply make the creature unstoppable as long as the heal is on.
Other worthy skills for Ramox include Thorns and Frenzy. The former increases the creature’s armor for a limited time, and the latter increases outgoing and incoming damage for a set amount of time. Activating these skills simultaneously inside a Healing Zone creates a beast out of Ramox.
It’s worth noting that if you select Feral Brute as Ramox’s secondary skill tree, it comes with a healing skill called Fortify, which can work perfectly alongside the previously aforementioned skills.
