Arcane is one of the strongest video game adaptations around, and another gaming franchise could benefit from the same treatment.

Rumors are going around that Vagabond might be getting an anime from the very same studio that did the hit animated show Arcane, based on League of Legends.

Studio Fortiche Could Animate Vagabond

Studio Fortiche is the Studio That Animated Arcane

Vagabond is a massive manga with a lot of potential when it comes to an animated series. It still doesn’t have an anime, however, in part possibly due to its art style, which would be no easy task to animate due to its complexity.

However, there is talk going around that Studio Fortiche is interested in taking on this tough task. For those who don’t know, Fortiche is the studio that handled the animation of the Arcane series, both seasons 1 and 2, which were hugely popular among fans, in huge parts thanks to the incredible work Studio Fortiche did.

The animation, direction, boarding, and everything in between were incredibly well done, and made the series of Arcane stand out from the rest.

Of course, just because Arcane and Vagabond could be animated by the same studio doesn’t mean they would look the same. Vagabond anime would have its own art and animation style.

All this is just talk, and fans aren’t too keen on this studio adapting Vagabond, but more information will soon come out.

What is Vagabond About?

The Story of Swordsman Musashi Miyamoto

Vagabond is by no means a new manga. Its serialization started a while ago now, back in 1998. The series is technically not concluded yet, but since 2015, it has been on a hiatus. The series can still receive an anime, as the manga itself has 37 volumes already released.

“Preoccupied with a single leaf… you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree… you’ll miss the entire forest.”

This seinen manga is by Takehiko Inoue. It tells the story of Musashi Miyamoto, a real swordsman who actually existed, but with a fictional twist to his story.
