Sniper Elite: Resistance takes a step away from series mainstay Karl Fairburne, and instead checks in on Harry Hawker as he works with the local French resistance aiming to take down the Nazi occupation. Following these fighters in their own struggles, the game features a number of optional Propaganda missions as they snipe, sneak, and gun their way through the fascist hordes.

Sniper Elite: 15 Best Missions In The Series
From fortress infiltrations to demagogue assassinations, here are the best missions in the Sniper Elite series.
While the missions themselves are quite straight-forward, unlocking Propaganda missions can take some hunting if you don’t already know where to look.
What Are Propaganda Missions?
Taking control of resistance fighters with their own loadouts, the goal is to kill the required number of enemies within a specified time limit.
There are three types of Propaganda Missions:
- Stealth Missions give you free movement around the map, and reward an additional 30 seconds for each ghost kill (a kill with no alert enemies).
- Sniper Missions put you in a smaller sniper nest and require you to take out every enemy from a distance. Killing elite snipers adds 30 seconds.
- Combat Missions require you to go loud and kill every enemy within the time limit. These grant an extra 30 seconds for kills with heavy weapons, like Panzerfausts.
Each mission will award you either a Bronze (2000 points), Silver (4000 points), or Gold medal (6000 points) for however many points you scored. Fortunately, regardless of the type of mission, you can spend as long as you like setting up before you start the timer. The timer will only start when you first engage with an enemy.
If you’re playing the mission well, you’ll likely end it with more time on the clock than what you started with.
How To Unlock Every Propaganda Mission
Before you can try your hand at a Propaganda mission, you need to unlock it. To do this, each mission of the campaign will have a propaganda poster hidden for you to find. Track it down and interact with it, and the corresponding Propaganda mission will be unlocked.
Bar the first chapter, Behind Enemy Lines, and the last one, All Or Nothing, every campaign mission has a poster. They only needs to be found once; after that, the mission will always be available through the main menu.
The posters make a faint paper-rustling sound when you’re near.
