The Aces Wild FNCS Cup is a new tournament coming very soon! To celebrate the release of anew skin, this event will be held alongside our normal cash cups.
Each FNCS season, we get new events with the best players, but also new skins. You can earn one of these in the Aces Wild FNCS Cup. A special FNCS style skin is always released a new take on a skin with FNCS branding. These aren’t the prizes though, players are competing for a slot at the Global Championship. However, a separate tournament will be held to unlock this skin for free.
Mainly skins are sold through the item shop, in exchange for V-Bucks or best case from the Battle Pass. However, for big releases Epic sometimes holds these tournaments. They’re essentially the same as a standard Cash Cup. Players jump in, compete, and the very best get a skin for free. It might not feel like the biggest prize, but these tournaments do also offer a chance to practise in realistic tournament settings. Not the easiest thing to get in Battle Royale.

The Aces Wild FNCS cup will be a new tournament held to celebrate the skin’s release. While it’s coming to the item shop to coincide with the FNCS 2025 Major 1 event, it’ll first be given away here. It’s going to be a Cash Cup-style event, so played in a single session. Players will be divided up into different regions, with more players from the bigger regions unlocking the skin.
Cash Cups can have varied rules. However, this tournament is going to run over one three-hour session. Players earn points in up to 10 games over this time, with the leaderboard recording your final position based on all games. A pretty simple set up.

That’s how you can take part. What adds the points to the leaderboard for players though? While it’s both placement and kills, this is the exact break down:
- Victory Royale 60 Points
- 2 – 53
- 3 – 49
- 4 – 47
- 5 – 46
- Eliminations – 2 points
From 5th down, each placement rank below gives 1 fewer points. Down to 50th place which gives 1.
How to Get the Skin
That’s how the Aced Wild FNCS Cup will work, as a free skin tournament though it isn’t everyone getting the prize. It can be a surprisingly stingy cut-off to say it’s an outfit being given away, not the cash prizes we normally see in Fortnite esports.
