With the arrival of Black Ops 6 Season 2, The Tomb comes forth, which serves as the fourth Zombies map for fans of the round-based mode. Like all Zombies maps, the end goal is to survive for as long as possible, and doing so is made far easier and accessible with the beloved Pack-a-Punch machine, which also costs 5,000 points for that first upgrade.

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Where To Find The Pack-A-Punch In The Tomb
Activating the Pack-a-Punch in The Tomb is an essential step for every player in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Here’s how to get it done.
Luckily, Black Ops 6‘s The Tomb map features a way for players to bypass that initial first 5,000 points cost, and they can actually get a Pack-a-Punch upgrade Aetherium Crystal for free, and it’s also extremely simple so that anyone can do it.
How to Get a Free Pack-a-Punch Aetherium Crystal in The Tomb
In order to obtain a free Pack-a-Punch upgrade, players first need to activate the Pack-a-Punch and then head through the gateway at the Subterranean Temple to access the Dark Aether Nexus. Once inside the Dark Aether Nexus, head towards the central mound and look up where players can see to protruding purple crystals. The crystal on the right will have 3 floating rocks, and the furthest two rocks will occasionally surge with electricity.
All players need to do to grab the free Pack-a-Punch upgrade, is shoot one of these electricity field rocks in the sky. After shooting one of the rocks, 5 will continue to orbit in the sky in an anti-clockwise fashion, and players must rapidly shoot all 5 rocks to complete this side easter egg. After shooting each rock, it will freeze for around 15 seconds, meaning players have 15 seconds to shoot all 5 floating rocks in the sky. Failing to do so just means players need to try again until they succeed or run out of bullets.
The best way to shoot all the rocks is to track them in the sky by following their anti-clockwise path, as they all float relatively in orbit of one another. However, there is a fifth rock that will float very far behind, and is far smaller than the other rocks, so be sure to grab this one too as it’s often forgotten. After all rocks have been successfully shot within the time limit, an audio chime will play, and players will find a Raw Aetherium Crystal and a random Ammo Mod at the center mound in the Dark Aether Nexus. Picking up the Raw Aetherium Crystal will automatically Pack-a-Punch the equipped weapon to Tier 1.
