Free Fire has announced its esports roadmap for 2025. Following a successful year in 2024, the game is to take everything to a new height this year. However, the game is a bit late in revealing the roadmap, but fans will surely consider the waiting period as the game is going to elevate everything.
Global events will kick off in April, with pre-season leagues starting in February
Free Fire has promised to deliver more thrilling actions and intensity to crave. So, it is bringing a lot of new things to the esports scenario.
Starting the global series, aka the Free Fire World Series, the game will host five regional circuits, which will give the teams a chance to earn a slot in the World Finals at the end of the year. The regional events are:
- Brazil
- LATAM
- Southeast Asia
- Middle East and Africa (MENA)
- Pakistan

As the game plans to increase and accelerate the esports events to capture every battle royale fan worldwide, more events will occur in 2025. From Manilla to Jakarta, the events will present iconic footsteps in each corner of the world.
The events this year will feature a thrilling new format named Champion Rush. In the final match, teams will race to achieve the Champion Rush Point. Once a team hits the mark, they’re crowned as the champions. After 8 games, if the event can’t award any champion, the highest point holder will get the trophy.
This will push the teams to throw their best at every game to prove their battle worth. Free Fire will also come with strategic gameplay where the game will implement unique active skills and each player will choose different skills. So, matches will deliver more thrill in each phase. Free Fire will also launch the Global Talent Development Program. It will empower the local team and talents to reach their potential.
