Elesa’s Sparkle – Ultra Rare

Full Art – $15.25

A powerful card in any deck based on the Fusion Strike mechanic, Elesa’s Sparkle takes two of your Fusion Strike Pokemon and gives them a bit of a boost. When you play this Supporter card you get to pick two of your Fusion Strike and then go grab a Fusion Strike Energy card from your deck and attach those Energies to them.

The artwork for the full art Elesa’s Sparkle shows her hanging out in what appears to be an arcade or theme park of some kind, with a big ol’ Pikachu, Charizard, and Jigglypull in the background.

Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR – Ultra Rare

The Crown Zenith Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR from the Pokemon TCG.

Hisuian Zoroark’s collection of valuable cards might not be as expansive as some other Pokemon in Crown Zenith, but it boasts a beautiful card that earns a place as the Pokemon’s best. While this card has maintained a relatively stable price in the teens, it shot up into the high teens by the end of 2024.

This stunning artwork will likely remain Hisuian Zoroark’s best card for the foreseeable future, so it’s likely to dictate the ceiling for any future cards featuring this Pokemon.

Pikachu – Secret

Secret Rare – $17.76

The Crown Zenith Pikachu Secret Rare from the Pokemon TCG.

While Pikachu typically doesn’t need help to cement the price of its collection of valuable cards, this artwork depicts the Pokemon mascot with several of its Galarian friends. Among the collection of Pokemon joining the fun are Crowbat, Inteleon, Calyrex, Zacian, and Urshifu.

While this card hovered below ten dollars for the early stages of its TCG career, it saw a huge spike that sent this card into the 20s by the end of 2024. While it pulled back from this massive movement, Pikachu’s popularity should keep this card moving up for the foreseeable future.

Deoxys VMAX – Ultra Rare

Deoxys VMAX by Akira Komayama in the Pokemon TCG.

What a stunning artwork for one of the most unique legendary Pokemon around. The valuable Deoxys card seen here in its Defense Form, about to be sucked up into the UFO-looking Orbeetle in its Gigantamax form.

These ETBS have exceeded expectations.

Behind Deoxys, there’s a ringed gaseous planet, reminiscent of Saturn though with not nearly as many moons. Deoxys VMAX itself is a fine card, with a beefy Ability that reduces the amount of damage your opponent’s VSTAR Pokemon deal, and a solid attack in Max Drain, which helps Deoxys VMAX sustain a little.

11

Entei V – Ultra Rare

The Crown Zenith Entei V Card from the Pokemon TCG.

If there’s one thing you can say about Entei V is that they’re explosive, both in terms of value this Pokemon provides and the amount of damage it can do. With a healthy amount of HP, Entei can stick around in your Active Spot to help draw you cards with its Fleet-Footed ability, letting you draw a card once per turn.

Then, much like its other elemental counterparts, Entei V can make use of its Burning Rondo attack, dealing twenty damage at its base, and then an extra 20 for each Benched Pokemon in play.

10

Raikou V – Ultra Rare

The Crown Zenith Raikou V in Pokemon TCG, with art by nagimiso.

Look at how fast this Pokemon can go! Everything about Raikou V is about speed. Its ability, Fleet-Footed, lets you draw a card once per turn when it is in the active spot, which encourages to you either actively be swapping it in and out of the active spot, or to power it up to be your main attacker.

And it’s a solid attacker too, with its Lighting Rondo attack only requiring two Energies to use, and deals more damage based on the total number of Benched Pokemon. If you can fill your bench up quickly, you’ll be dealing at least 120 damage with each attack.

9

Darkrai VSTAR – Ultra Rare

Image of the card Darkrai VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Pani Kobayashi

Look at this absolutely stunning piece of art from illustrator Pani Kobayashi. Darkrai appears to be sleeping and floating above a river of stars and lights that itself is floating above a lake.

There’s a good chance that Darkrai VSTAR is shown in a dream, as the strange trail of lights appears to lead to a shinning door floating in the lake. Darkrai VSTAR is a Dark Trainer’s dream, dealing more and more damage the more Darkness energies you have on your Pokemon.

8

Suicune V – Ultra Rare

Suicine V Atsushi Furusawa

Like its Legendary companions Entei and Raiku, Suicune V is all about generating value and hitting hard. With its shared Fleet-Footed Ability, Suicune V can draw you a card if it is in the Active Spot, which with a Trainer or two to swap around your Pokemon, can net you several cards in a turn.

Once you’re ready to start attacking, Blizzard Rondo starts off at just 20 damage, but quickly climbs up in damage for each Benched Pokemon in play. This attack counts both yours and your opponents, punishing your opponents for playing too many Pokemon.

7

Glaceon VSTAR – Ultra Rare

The Crown Zenith Glaceon VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Gemi

The Ice evolutionary line of Eevee has always been a popular one, and in Crown Zenith, the Galarian Gallery version of the card has plenty of collectability among fans. While Glaceon VSTAR doesn’t see much play competitively, it is a frigidly beautiful card that shows off a Glaceon in its natural environment.

Despite dropping into the 20s during the last of Crown Zenith’s reprints, this card is firmly in the $40 range thanks to its status as an Eeveelution and the gorgeous scene depicted here.

6

Leafeon VSTAR – Ultra Rare

The second Eevee evolution on this list, Leafeon VSTAR, is another card that fetches a high value because of its positively lovely art.

Casually lounging in a greenhouse or some type of apothecary, the beautiful art by Jiro Sasumo truly captures the daily life of this Leafeon. The card itself doesn’t see much play, but if you want to show off your favorite Eeveelution, there’s no better card to pick.

5

Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR – Secret

The Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR in the Pokemon TCG, with art by Akira Egawa

The secret rare version of Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR should surprise no one as being among the most valuable cards from Crown Zenith. Its only attack, Subspace Swell, can deal upwards of 260 damage if both players are maxed out on their Bench.

While the damage output will often be lower, you can easily achieve at least 160 damage by filling out your own Bench. When this secret rare is placed alongside the Origin Forme Dialga, Arceus, and Giratina VSTAR cards from Crown Zenith, it creates an almost cataclysmic union of art.

4

Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR – Secret

The Crown Zenith Origin Forme Dalga VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Akira Egawa

The antithesis of Palkia in nature but also united in cause, the Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR secret rare from Crown Zenith not only features similarly awe-inspiring art but an obscene amount of power.

3

Mewtwo VSTAR – Ultra Rare

The Crown Zenith Mewtwo VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Gossan.

Depicting the original legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo VSTAR sits above almost all other cards in Crown Zenith in terms of value. This full art card shows an intense fight between Mewtwo and a Charizard, tearing up the very earth beneath them as they battle in the skies.

There’s a possibility that Mewtwo VSTAR’s price could be getting a boost from the tendency of cards with Charizard on it being of higher value, but it’s still safe to say that Mewtwo VSTAR will maintain its high price.

2

Arceus VSTAR – Secret

The Crown Zenith Arceus VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Akira Egawa

Among Pokemon lore, it is said that Arceus created not only the Sinnoh region but possibly the whole world, and with the art on this secret rare from the Galarian Gallery, it’s hard to doubt its power.

Arceus VSTAR is already a powerhouse in the trading card game; between its VSTAR Power to get any two cards from your deck and a powerful ability that accelerates your other V Pokemon, you can expect collectors and players alike to be after this card.

1

Giratina VSTAR – Secret

The Crown Zenith Giratina VSTAR in Pokemon TCG, with art by Akira Egawa

The most valuable card from Crown Zenith is Giratina VSTAR by a wide margin. Giratina, in its Origin Forme at its home in the Distortion World, can be seen parting the chaos of the world around it.

Giratina’s high price comes from its eldritch-inspired art, rarity, and playability, headlining a powerful Lost Zone-based deck. While its roughly $100 price tag was already impressive, it doubled this impressive value in 2024, soaring above $200 by the end of the year.
