My Summer Car may be a game about putting together your own car, but there are actually several vehicles you can drive around. Some of these vehicles are suited to certain tasks, like the tractor, but others are simply a joy to drive when your Satsuma has broken down.

You’ll probably need to drive many of these cars at some point. You can’t pump sewage without the Gifu, after all! Many cars are easily accessible, but others may only be available through certain characters. At the beginning of the game, you’ll be relying on a range of vehicles while you get the Satsuma off the ground.

Satsuma
The Satsuma is the centerpiece of this car-building game. It will start as basically a pile of garbage in your garage, but as you earn money and spend time tinkering, it will slowly turn into a car that you can actually use. There are tons of customization options for the Satsuma, and you’ll be spending the bulk of the game putting it all together.
Keep your toolkit in the Satsuma, especially in the beginning, as you’ll probably breakdown a lot.
In the beginning, the Satsuma won’t be all that helpful. As you complete it, though, it becomes a great option for racing or running errands.

Hayosiko
The Hayosiko is an extremely practical van, even if it isn’t nearly as fun to drive as the cars. It’s a sturdy and spacious vehicle ideal for transporting goods like groceries or firewood and completing jobs. When you need to get work done, you can’t really beat this vehicle.
Because of its boxy design, it can be a little hard to drive on the Finnish roads. Take your time to figure out how to drive it, as you’ll be using it a lot near the beginning of the game. It’s one of the few vehicles you can use to move bigger items, and it’s very reliable.

Ferndale
The Ferndale is well-loved by many. However, you can only get it during very specific times, like when your car is in the shop. It’s basically a “loner” car from the local mechanic. It’s also challenging to drive at full speed and burns through gas very quickly, so it isn’t the most practical car.

These routes will provide Euro Truck Sim 2 drivers with a range of driving experiences and beautiful scenery.
While it may be tempting to put the gas to the floor with this car, it’s best to take it slow and avoid wrecking it. It isn’t really your car, after all.

Gifu
Driving a septic truck isn’t necessarily the most exciting joyride, but it is a necessity in My Summer Car. The truck lets you pump and empty waste tanks around town, which can bring you in quite a bit of money. It takes a little bit to learn how to use and drive the Gifu, but once you do, it’s a quick and easy way to make money to fund your more exciting pursuits.
As a bonus this car is almost impossible to wreck badly. It’s built like a tank, so new drivers don’t have to worry too much about their driving skills.
4
Kekmet
Although it’s one of the slowest vehicles in the game, the Kekmet is also one of the most versatile. It’s a dependable machine capable of towing cars, trailers, and even the occasional stubborn van stuck in a ditch. It’s not very flashy and goes very slow, but it’s a solid option when your main ride breaks down.
This tractor can be challenging to drive, especially when you go too fast. Luckily, it is very hard to flip.
The Kekmet can be used to deliver hay bales, too, which helps you earn a little bit of money. It probably isn’t a car you’ll want to drive very much, but it’s absolutely more dependable and practical than other options.
3
Ruscko
The Ruscko is an abandoned, rusty car that you can find and repair. It’s located inside a shed near Ritoranta’s house. It has tons of mechanical problems and a wasp nest that won’t be too happy with your intrusion. You’ll have to win a pretty serious bet to get this car too, which risks the Satsuma and potentially even your house.
We recommend driving this car very slowly and avoiding police checkpoints since it lacks both a license plate and seatbelts. That said, it is a car with a lot of character and functions as a suitable albeit risky backup ride.
2
Jonnez ES
The Jonnez ES is a great starter vehicle, even if you won’t use it much in the late game. It provides quick and budget-friendly transportation before you get the Satsuma running. It doesn’t have any advanced mechanics and is pretty reliable, so you won’t have to deal with complicated mechanics when you’re trying to get groceries.
This moped requires a kickstart, so take your time to get it going, especially in the beginning.
You can continue using this vehicle as a reliable way to run errands, too. Just be cautious of traffic and bumpy back roads. This vehicle doesn’t provide much protection, which can spell disaster for your character.
1
Boat
Okay, so the boat isn’t a car, but it is indispensable for exploring the waterways on the map. It’s the best way to reach the island, and you can even use it to pick up groceries. You probably won’t drive it too much, as its uses are pretty niche. However, if you want a complete feel for everything the game has to offer, we recommend using it to explore the island at the very least.
Driving the boat is surprisingly easy, especially since you don’t have to contend with traffic or curvy back roads.
