Persona 4 Golden can be a fairly long game to get through, though there is so much to see and do that playing it again will have you often experiencing new content. What Carries Over In Persona 4 Golden New Game Plus
To start a New Game Plus run you’ll need to load up a clear game save file, indicated by the pink circle with flowers within. The following things carry over to your new playthrough:

Social Stats |
Your social stats carry over exactly where they left off, letting you focus on Social Links more in case you missed any of them or anything else you want to spend your free time on. You can also choose a few unique dialogue options at the beginning of the game that are usually impossible to select, such as asking for Chie’s phone number outright. |

Persona Compendium |
While no Personas carry over, you’ll have your filled compendium and can summon Personas from it after Chie joins the party and you begin the first stretch of free time to save Yukiko. |

Money |
Your total money carries over and can be used to summon Personas and buy equipment right away. |

Daidara’s Inventory |
Any item you were able to buy from Daidara’s shop in your last playthrough is available when your first set of free time begins. While none of your equipment carries over, you can at least buy it all back right away. |

Twelve Persona Slots |
You’ll start the game with all twelve Persona slots unlocked. |

Costumes |
No other equipment carries over, but all your unlocked costumes carry over and can be equipped whenever you get access to the equipment menu. |

Social Link Key Items |
The items given when maxing out a social link are still in your inventory, letting you fuse ultimate Personas right away. |

New Game Plus Exclusive Boss In Persona 4 Golden
The secret boss of Persona 4 Golden is Margaret. To fight her, you’ll need to max out her social link in your New Game Plus run and defeat every optional boss when returning to previous dungeons. On the final day of the game, when getting the good ending, Igor will give you the Orb of Sight. After leaving the Velvet Room, go back in to find Marget where she will challenge you to fight her at the end of the Heaven dungeon. While you can face her with your party, this will be the hardest fight in the game.
