Great news for Lycoris Recoil fans: something big is coming! While we’ve been eagerly waiting for a second season, the beloved series is treating us to something just as sweet: Lycoris Recoil—Friends are Thieves of Time. This is a new project that will give us six episodes whose central characters are Chisato, Takina, as well as the rest of the cast from Café LycoReco. It isn’t a complete season, but it’s the closest thing to it we’ll get, and, for that reason, fans are excited!
It was shown during a concert in which fans saw a hint of a new visual and understood what direction these short films would be made in. This new series is yet again from the amazing studio A-1 Pictures, the studio that always delivers top-notch animation, and this new season gives us all that we have come to expect from the show: charm, action, and animation.
